The findings that there is a strong relation between job satisfaction and work performance are consistent with Usop et.al, (2013), that a teacher who is satisfied with his/her job is also a productive worker. In addition, if the teachers are comfortable with their job, they will develop and maintain high level of performance. Teaching learning process make more efficient and effective situation that could supply more highly competitive learners inside the classroom and for the work environment. In a further study conducted by Indhumathi (2011), investigating the job satisfaction and performance of 444 teachers at the secondary level, it was discovered that there was a significant relationship between job satisfaction and performance and the teachers in different categories of schools differed significantly in both job satisfaction and teaching performance.

Job satisfaction is also important as it will increase productivity which will result in higher student accademic performance.Thirdly, job satisfaction will resultin satisfied teachers and reduce the level of staff attrition.
To improve teachers’ satisfaction the Ministry of Education should focus on improving the salary and working conditions of the teachers to aid their commitment to the students learning outcomes. Secondly, the school administrators should focus on getting the best out of the teahers by using motivation strategies to improve their work performance.
In recent discussions of unemployment, a controversial issue has been whether a college education is worth the oppressive debt that colleges thrust upon their students. From this perspective, obtaining a preeminent education is not valued above the threat of student loans that constantly loom over the possessor. On the other hand, however, others argue that a college education constructs the building blocks for undergraduates to pursue more than just a job or career. In the words of one of this view’s main proponents, “Post secondary education should help students to discover what they love to do, to get better at it, and to develop that ability to continue learning so that they become agents of change- not victims of it,” (Roth). According to this view, secondary education develops a student’s ability to rise above change and are not lost to its enormous list of victims.

This chapter speaks about school leaders managing every aspect of the school in order to ensure student success. Managing a learning facility that operates in an organized and safe environment can play a major role in the potential success of students.
By listening to my principal and many other principals sharing, I have noticed that no one strategy is working for every school. It was also clear that no one strategy is bad for every school. It seemed like each principal is using whatever strategies that work for him or her. As a result, each school proposed improvement in a slightly different area. A few schools wanted parents to be able to check out classroom Chromebook, so parents can help their kids online at home.
Another point to consider is that merit-based pay does not encourage the betterment of teachers because it creates an atmosphere of competition and stress, which leads to less collaboration. Feelings of anxiety and fear can occur because teachers are held accountable for learning gains, despite their inability to control many outside factors. These feelings can even drive an excellent teacher out of the profession because of the pressure of being evaluated on unreliable data (Berliner 53). When merit-based pay is put into effect schools become like a sports teams. The teachers are the coaches and the students the team players.
Many of the teachers we have now are less than interested in their job, and it shines through. It is exceptional noticeable that they would rather be anywhere other than that classroom, and be around these students. When teachers have this attitude, and take it to the classroom everyday, it takes a toll on the students academically. It harms them because they are not getting the best education provided. Teachers have little to no motivation to help their students excel academically.
My educational goal is to earn a degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of California, Riverside, in hopes of getting a job inside the laboratory department at Kaiser. Based on labs that I have already done at the University, I found that I enjoy working in a similar setting. I would love to have the opportunity to shadow a connoisseur in a similar work environment, as it would be a valuable learning experience. I come from a low-income family in Oakland, California. The economic barrier that has restricted my family has prevented us from moving out from where we live.

Becoming a teacher has been something that I have been dreaming of for a while now. It has become one of the biggest goals of my life and obtaining it would mean the world to me. This goal has really motivated me to be the best person I could be. With that being said I want to help my students out with becoming the best person they want to be. The American Dream is an idea ingrained in American society. The idea of prosperity and raising a family in the suburbs is as iconically American as Baseball and apple pie. The “high-point” for the American Dream was in the post World War II era from about 1945-1975 (Krugman). This was mainly because people could move easily up from the lower classes. Now, however, the American Dream is on the verge of extinction.

By having strong student-teacher relationships with students, the classroom will be a place for each member to express their feelings and work together. Academic success depends on these close relationships and guidance that teachers and students have with one another. Classroom management aims at establishing student self-control through a process of promoting positive student achievement and behavior. Thus, academic achievement, teacher efficacy, and teacher and student behavior are directly linked with the concept of classroom management.
There is this famous saying, ''Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow". I could not agree more. Growing up as a kid, I vividly recall myself always being enthusiastic to learn and explore. Education is a huge issue that not only affects kids and their parents, but their community as well. Schools teach young kids to become the next generation of engineers, technicians, and political leaders, working towards creating a better future for their country and their community. Teachers have the unique job of creating the future leaders of the world, and preparing them for both college and life beyond, by putting a special push towards math and science, the so-called “foundation” of our society. The hard truth is, no one can be anything they want to be. Some people are simply not cut out to be engineers, doctors, or psychologists.
