The arduous process of creating the McMillan Commission, officially called the Senate Park Commission, let alone implementing it, revealed the consequences of the sharing of powers between the different institutions of government in the American regime and the negotiations needed to navigate competing interests within and without those institutions. Instead of asking the president to create a commission on his own, Senator McMillan had to pass resolutions through two houses of Congress whose members did not always agree with his vision. Those disagreements sometimes ended in failure for McMillan or in his plan being watered down or amended considerably. The most telling evidence of the McMillan Commission’s reflection of the American political regime came from an admission from Senator McMillan himself. In his papers, member of the commission Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. accounted that “McMillan wanted a ‘comprehensive scheme’ but feared that ‘it might be turned down by the other Committees if it were made too complete and pushed too far.’”
In regards to the Brent Small case, I personally believe that Mr. Smalls shouldn't be found guilty due to the lack of evidence. Although there was a witness who saw what happened, the evidence isn’t consistent with the case. The vehicle did match the description but the witness was unsure of the license plate and the damage to the vehicle isn’t significant to the crime committed. I don't believe that the evidence is strong enough to convict Mr. Smalls.

Pacifica Foundation called attention to the radio broadcasting use of indecent language. A comedian named George Carlin recorded a satirical monologue about the way society views language in a routine called “Seven Words You Can Never Use on Television” (Ray, 1990, pg.83). WBAI, a radio station belonging to the Pacifica Foundation, aired the monologue one afternoon after warning audiences before hand that the segment would include graphic language. According to William B. Ray, in the bit, Carlin mentioned the seven words multiple times, “shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker, and tits,” using them in non-sexual sentences (p. 83). However, a father riding in a car with his teenage son tuned in to the broadcast after the content warning, heard Carlin’s use of these words, and filed an
INTRODUCTION The statement, which is a quote from McPhail v Doulton , is stating that for a trust to be valid the beneficiaries must be able to be identifiable, meaning there are persons with a beneficial interest in the trust. From the case of Re Endacott we know that beneficiaries must be certain or capable to be certain; with out this, the trust will fail. It is so crucial to identify the beneficiaries because the trustees must know to whom they owe an obligation, and so the courts can enforce the trust. Certainty has been said to be the “greatest problems of principle to chancery lawyers”
