The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the educational institutions and workplaces have grown in recent years, because using ICT in these places makes those jobs far more effective. ICT is defined as “diverse set of technological tools and resources used to communicate, and to create, disseminate, store, and manage information.” ICT products are now used by most people, and it is a potential tool for educational opportunities. It can divide three perspectives. First, ICT helps parents to communicate with teachers easier. Second, ICT has merits for teachers as well. In other words, learners no longer have to depend on printed books and other physical materials. The Internet and the World Wide Web, a wealth of learning materials in almost every subject can be accessed anywhere at any time. Therefore, students can access to remote learning resources which are public to everyone. It means students can study themselves with high quality educational materials, even if the teacher exists. Also, they have opportunities to collaborate on group assignments with people outside or inside the school, by using ICT. Furthermore, ICT such as videos and television make learning easier, because visual and vocal information includes much more data than verbal information. Videos include these three information, and it is said that videos have 5000 times as much information as only texts and images. It is also said that videos and other ICT have a motivational influence on students’ learning. This is because using ICT like videos is much more enjoyable, and students want to use it as mentioned above in the second paragraph.
