I have so much working against me that I am not certain being alive is such a blessing right now as you exclaimed above. I am not my greatest fan at the moment and I absolutely loathe my life’s circumstances.” Me: “Okay, my friend, I understand; I too felt like that in the past. Though our body is an incredible creation, our mind a marvel, and our ability to love is fascinating, we still may not love everything about ourselves or our circumstances, and that is normal. But, excessively stressing over our dislikes can rob us of our inner harmony and energy and can adversely impact, exponentially, the already dreaded issues. An affirmation is a phrase that you repeat regularly and confidently to make a formal declaration to yourself and the universe of your intention for it to be the truth (it is aligned with the law of attraction). Affirmations should be recited aloud and often with emotional and positive intensity until they begin to dwell within your subconscious. They must resonate with you, and you should avoid voicing them robotically and meaninglessly. They can be recited anywhere, anytime; the more often, the quicker the desired result. I often say them while I am driving, when I am about to address a challenging issue, or when I feel uninspired / demotivated and need a pick-me-upper.
