When I took the Myers-Briggs Personality Test, my result was the description of ISTJs, Introverted Sensing Thinking Judging. From these results, ISTJs are inspectors with an acute awareness of what is right and wrong, especially when it relates to their interests or responsibility. This assessment does resemble my personality without a doubt. The ISTJs process a devotion to duty, and their motto is punctuality. I agree I have a dedication to duty and am a stickler for punctuality with the exception to reasonable cause. I like to be at places on time, and hate running late. I like to finish projects ahead of schedule. I cannot stand waiting for a person that is running behind without a good reason. It also annoys me if I must work with an individual who constantly …show more content…
Many individuals think I am cold and standoffish, if not conceited and stuck up. I agree I do like being to myself a lot, not that I am shy, just prefer spending most of my time alone with a few close associates rather than go to parties, bars, or clubs. Very often when I go shopping or other rowdy places, the people and the commotion overwhelm me. However, ISTJs seem to perform at the maximum efficiency when using a step-by-step approach. The ISTJ is dependent on carrying it through, regardless of their health. In other words, they will do whatever it takes to get it done, no matter the cause to you. I can relate to this statement because when I start something, I will not stop until it is done regardless if I am tired or not. I also use whatever means necessary, whether it is conventional or logical. ISTJs are easily annoyed by the inconsistencies of others, especially when they do not keep their commitments. I agree I am the kind of person that takes what you say seriously, especially when it pertains to promises and commitments. If I tell a person to meet me somewhere at a certain time, I expect them to be there 15 minutes
Career Choice I came to ATA to try and achieve my dream of being a cosmetologist. I have always loved doing hair, I have done my own hair about 32 times in the past 4 years, and I have done my mother’s hair too. Unfortunately, cosmetology here was a 2-year program and I am only here for 1 year. They ended up putting e in nail tech, which I am just as happy with, especially since I have to learn it for cosmetology anyways.
Title: MBTI Student name: Professor’s Name: Course Title: Date: Institution: MBTI: The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a self-analyzing survey that is done to analyze how people judge the world and how this influences their power of making decisions. This is basically a set of question that helps determine the ability of your brain to adjust things.
In my opinion I display characteristics of the Enterprising, Conventional, and Social Occupational Themes. I am lead to this opinion by agreement with the descriptions of both Enterprising and Conventional themes. The Strong Interest Inventory Assessment I completed stated Enterprising theme potential skills as “verbal ability, ability to motivate and direct others.” I have been able to motivate and direct others through management, volunteer work, coaching, and many other activities in my life. I enjoy being able to envision, direct, and see an idea or project come together.
PART FOUR: INTEGRATION AND CONCLUSION For my MBTI, I believe that I am an ISXJ. I believe this because for every duality, besides feeling versus thinking, everyone agreed with me. For extroversion versus introversion, everyone mostly agreed that I have a strong preference for introversion.
The Importance of Being On Time Respect is something that we all desire, but earning it is no easy task. One of the most respectable traits anyone can have, civilian or soldier can have is time management. When you report for duty, or be on time for your date, time management should be a must. By not managing your time well, you could disrupt not only the course of your day, but others as well. Keeping your word and showing up on time shows that you are reliable and appreciate the other person's time as well.
Being on time is one of the most common things you can find in any policy that is out there, whether it is for a job, school, and even the military. Being on time is one of the simplest of things that you can do to show that you have discipline, respect, and responsibility. This can also be one of the key factors that can hinder you from you reaching your goals, and completing any task that you need to complete. Missions and operations have many moving and connecting pieces that function together as a whole depending on a time sensitive plan. Being on time is probably the most common requirement in anything that you will do in life.
Integrity: Showing up and being on time is doing what is right if you need to cancel an appointment do the right thing and call ahead. Personal Courage: Is all of the above by doing the right thing at the right times and following by your word you are showing yourself to be loyal, respectful and all others building your courage to continue in that pattern. It is a waste of other people’s time and can result in consequences due to lack of planning and disorganization. That can cause bad character judgment on you making yourself untrustworthy. I understand everyone has obligations and may become very busy with work but it is important keep track of what you have already planned and try to plan around or call ahead and cancel if needed so your time is organized and managed in a appropriate manner.

On the other hand, it could be negative when it comes to clashing personalities that cause unhealthy and petty rivalries. This paper is a very brief overview of the author’s personality type as determined by the Jung Typology Test. The test resulted in the rarest personality form, INFJ. Each letter has been broken down into its individual meaning, also known as “preferences.” These letters stand for introverted, intuitive, feeling, and judging. Included with Carl Jung’s findings are definitions given by David Keirsey which group the INFJ personality into his NF category, then further describes them as “Counselors.”
My personality type according to the Myers-Briggs personality test is Extraverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Judging (ENFJ) (Jung, & Myers-Briggs, 2016). This is important to note especially in careers like mine where I am consistently required to interact with others. There are various personality types within my company. Understanding the differences among the various personality types will be beneficial as I progress into greater leadership roles.
Personality Theory Draft I believe personality to be a fluid ever-changing part of who we are. It develops as we do throughout our lives. We also might change others’ perception of our personality depending on the social context (i.e. family, friends, romantic partner) We want people to see a certain side of us but they are all aspects that we possess and are therefore a part of us. I feel that personality types try to put personality in a definite box, but it’s complex just like our nature.
Personality is defined as the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual 's unique character. Personality theory is the approaches to understanding the “What”, “How” and “When” of characteristics and features that make up an individual 's personality. An insight into personality is important to understand the function of a person’s mind. By doing this you would be able to understand and observe your own psyche from an outside perspective, interact with others better and understand why they do what they do or predict how someone may react to something. My personality can be describe as Introverted since I am reserved, practical and quiet.
The Big Five Personality Traits are divided into five broad characteristics, which is basically used to describe the variations of human personality.
