At the time of writing this paper I am 23 years old. Through these last 5 years I have grown a lot and gained an outlook of what I want to do in life but I realize I'm not perfect, and I never will be. Even this summer I have dropped 2 classes but God willing and time management on my side, I will successfully take classes to finish out my Associate's Degree in the fall and spring. The correct amount of classes for me. Not how many the advisor thinks I should take, not too many due to people asking me when I will finish my degree, not in a rush.
This is why they look up to athletes, because they are all they have to look to (Steinberg). They look to them for guidance and want to follow in their footsteps. This is why athletes can be so beneficial to society, because they can be good examples to the younger generation. Many athletes may say that it is not their job to role models. It may not be their job; however, it is their responsibility to be a good role model.
My Marauder Legacy The actions and behaviors a person does always have an effect on the surrounding people. It is up to the person to decide what type imprint he will have on others. Some people work passionately and diligently to be an example and a role model for other people who will come after. I am one of those people. I thought I couldn’t make it to the Junior Olympics because I was young. I was only eight years old when I ran in the Districts and Regionals. The other girls I competed against were older than me. They weren’t that much older than me because I had to run with eight and under. The girls that were older than me were only older by a couple of months.
My dad was hardly around from work and just not wanting to be home. I thought that those public school kids would destroy me, they knew so much more than I did, (Not true) and had so much more social experience (Also not true). Yet it was nothing compared to the 6+ hours these kids have been at school every day.

I didn’t even know what cross country is before I came to this school. And by the end of the season, I was one of the best runners in the team. This transition didn 't come from nowhere. I was literally the slowest person in the whole team(including girls) when the season began. Everything happened so fast. I had only worked for SFC Joe Smith for a little over three months. The first incident had occurred when I was updating the computers prior to the opening of the facility to students.
