As I was walking towards the beach, the sun was beaming straight into my soul. I had the day off from work and decided to take a trip to the beach with my friend. It was a hot summer day, the forecast suggested a very hot and humid day. As I packed my essentials, I made my way to my friend’s house. We then took a while before boarding on the transportation. We stood local, rolled joint and smoked for a bit. As soon as we were done, we walked to the bus stop. Neither of us had a car, so we relied on public transportation. Around this time, we didn’t really Uber as much either. So, as soon as we got to the city, we decided to head to Coney Island. This beach is basically where most people get to go and catch some sun, water, and rides without having to break their wallet. …show more content…
Both of us are then taking turn drinking on the subway, in such a subtle way where it’s not supposed to be noticeable. Anyway, as we arrive to the deck, the place is packed. People are everywhere, kids, adults, oldies, you name it. Still a nice day, those type of days where you know it’s going to be one of those great memories. One for the books I guess, the nonrealistic memory book. It’s funny though because as soon as we hit the shore, my friend and I, two dudes decide to approach us and start a conversation. We were being polite and responding back to them. Suddenly, they turned on us because we wanted to end the conversation. Let me say this, I don’t usually have the same day-off schedule as my friend. Therefore, to be able to enjoy a day off simultaneously was grand for us. We wanted to enjoy each other’s company yet, those two beings decided to harass

My girlfriend works in a clinic in Atlantic City that provides health care and social services to people with no insurance or have limited means of support. There are more places in Atlantic City that provide free health care, food, shelter, addiction and social services than anywhere within a days ride of the city. People drift down here from all over of the state, even outside of New Jersey, for a cot and a meal. After its decline in the 1950s, the city has attracted alcoholics, people with mental health issues, and those just down on their luck. Maybe it was the ocean and faded glamor of the city 's boardwalk and hotels, or the abundance of cheap housing and corner taprooms.
Being born and raised in Florida it was evident that I was going to experience some beautiful nature as a child. It never really occurred to me though how important nature is and how much of an affect it can have on a person. When I was younger my family used to travel down to the Florida Keys every summer to go fishing and snorkeling. I would look forward to this trip every summer because the drive down to the Keys enabled us to see all of Florida and that was always my favorite part. As I got into my teens though and started playing more sports my summers soon became filled with traveling around the state playing sports rather than fishing and snorkeling down in the keys.
Counting down time packing up clothes in about ten minutes we would be going to Corpus Christi Texas. My sister and I were born. We lived there until I was a year old and until my sister was four. Then when we arrived we would go see my uncle Mike.
The Punta Cana Vacation Have you ever had a vacation where your child does something horrible in public at a swimming pool? A vacation is when one or more people are gone for an extended period of time. When I was four years old me, my mother, my father, my grandpa, and my grandma went to Punta Cana to get away from the cold weather. It has been happening, ever since we left Illinois and Missouri. So, we boarded the plane and took off to Punta Cana, everyone was either taking a nap or watching a movie while the plane was moving.

The Ride Today, my family and I went to Kings Island and we made it through the exhausting car ride.. We walked into the park and we were started looking for somewhere for a roller coaster to ride like the small ,medium, big, and huge I wanted to go on a medium kind roller coaster. We roamed around a little going around checking all of the places to eat, little games to play, and the huge rides they have. I said to my dad “ There's a lot of places to eat here.” he and said “I wonder why it’s always packed too.”
It was a windy Saturday evening, and the sun was close to setting. My family and I had been on Galveston Island for about 20 minutes. When we made it to the hotel, we told that is would be another 45 minutes until our room was ready. Because of this we took a walk on a pier that was across the street. The pier extended out over the water and ended with a spot for fishing.
I think that about all five of us were set on unpacking and hitting the pearly white sand and crystal clear water. That was all that happened then. The sixth hour was boring because everyone was just ready to get out of the car. The good thing though is that we could smell the beaches. That meant one thing.
Other than just playing in the waves there are many great spots to enjoy surfing, whale/ dolphin watching, paddle boarding, beach volleyball, sailing, and so much more. With great waves and great beaches, everyone has an opportunity to see the beauty the ocean holds and enjoy it for themselves. There are many public and private beaches to suit one's wants, and many have shops offering lessons and equipment. There are also many shops just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the waves where

I moved to New York one year after graduating from college to leave the past behind. In college, I majored in communication and film studies. I had goals since senior year of high school to move to New York. Granted, I had always dreamed about living in the city and decided it was now or never. I wanted change in my life and moved.
New York Genre 1 As a little girl I never had the desire, like most, to travel to New York, but here I am, 18 and living the dream in New York City. The day after I turned 18 I boarded a plane and was off to start my new adventure in New York. In my days in New York my eyes have been opened to how different things are in the city than back home in Utah and Idaho. It has definitely been a drastic change getting used to the homesickness, Mormonism in the city, transportation and the people of the city.
We woke up, went to the beach and swam in the ocean. We continued to eat seafood from various restaurants and look around for souvenirs to buy for ourselves and family. The fourth day turned out to be somewhat different. When we awoke, it was not sunny nor clear outside. The weather had become cloudy.
Ellie was six years old and lived in a two room beach house with her parents. The house itself was not all that great, but she loved it there. She loved the beautiful waves that crashed on her little feet and how the wind blew blonde curls into her big, blue eyes. She loved the way the salty smelling air greeted her every time she walked out of the door. When she would run, her long toes would become caught in the grainy sand and she would stumble.
