After dropping my daughter off at homecoming, I drove thirty minutes back to work and picked up my laptop to please my neighbor. After all this running around, I had forgotten about the plans my mother had made for us that night. Even though I tried my best to please everyone, I ended hurting the people who loved me the
My second semester of school I decided that because I already knew where I was going to college I didn’t have to try as hard in school and work as hard for my grades as I had before. I began slacking off inside as well as outside of the classroom. I stopped doing homework to my best ability’s, stopped studying for tests, and worst of all I was lying to my mother. For almost four months I treated my mother poorly. I constantly lied to her face about how my grades were.
Slovak. “Sarah!” yelled Dr. Carter “Me?” she asked “Come in, it’s good to see you” Dr. Carter say’s with joy. “No one has called me that in years” she explains as she walked in with pure happiness For the first in years she felt acknowledged, she feels seen like she wasn’t anyone’s shadow. Sarah hadn’t experienced this in a while since marrying frank, Sarah never felt this type of power before as if she finally run’s her own life, not a man. He gets his note pad out for the last time writing the date 11/06/16 two years later exactly from her husband’s death.
She was a freshman, she recently moved to town, and she knew nothing about her new school. It’s 7:45 and she still hasn’t got out of her bed, and school starts at 8:40, she said to herself, “Hurry up Lauren, you can’t be late for the first day of school!” She sloppily got ready and finally went downstairs after what seemed like an hour. The household always seemed to be chaotic in the morning before school, her brothers would yell at each other, things would be thrown across the table. Waiting in the car, she finally realized that today school started, thoughts came rushing into her mind of all the things that could go wrong. Slamming the door, her brothers finally entered the car and they were finally on the way to their new school.
Good afternoon, I 'm a Spotsy Sophomore, and I was in CGS until about three months ago. At the time, my best friend had just recently passed away and I was dealing with a lot of stress and sadness as a result. I had no motivation or desire to do normal everyday things, let alone homework. My grades slipped. Against the advice of my teachers, I left the program and went to Spotsy full-time.
It made sense to me. I never had a moment in time where I wanted to give up in an english class because it was hard. As those 2 Failures on my transcript indicate, that was not the case for me in math. With time to look over the outcome I realized I gave up. After I was out of school for around a month after my ACL surgery it was hard to catch up but It was not impossible.
1 in 10 students dropout of school because of repeated bullying. My survival experience is still going on today and has been for the past 8 years. I’ve tried going to councilors and talking to my parents, but nothing worked. I guess all I have left is to just get through middle school and hopefully it gets better in high school. Like most, I am a very healthy, average 13 year old girl.
Are my teachers nice? Am I gonna have classes with my friends? After I ate breakfast, I got in the car with my mom and met up with my best friend Kalliee so we could at least walk in together because we didn 't have any classes together. As Kalliee and I were walking in, the first thing I did was drop something. The the I dropped was of course my deodorant.
High School Graduation The beginning of the Highs School year, was a new experience for me,because of begin alone in the school without knowing nobody, not knowing the language and have zero knowledge of the academic level i need it to have in order to graduate, on the mid senior year of high school,i got a call from the counselor Mr.Calume,he told me that, in order to graduate i need it to pass 4 states exams that can be only due 2 times per year semester, and i was in my last semester of high school,so the chances of me passing those test were low for me. There for, i meet some olds friends from when i was a child from my country (Venezuela) they have move to the same school i me,so they reached me some tips and trick to pass
When I first started Collinwood High School, they didn’t have my transcript over from Shaw so for a month I had to take ninth grade classes. I was barely going to classes, I would leave school and go home or to the store. I got suspended twice before I got my transcript. Once I did get them I started going to classes but that was long after I started skipping classes and leaving school to go home. I messed up the first and second quarter grades was terrible I was just an honor roll student at Shaw, now at Collinwood I have F’s.
As a child, high school seemed like a place that was miles away. Everything about it- with the exception of the graffitied bathroom stalls-lit up my eyes with the dream that I would one day be walking down its halls as a student. Although high school felt so far away, Montville High School itself was no stranger to me. When I was younger, my mom tortured me by sending me to the Chinese program held there every Sunday. I also used the school’s athletic facilities from joining the recreation track program, which I stopped going to after two weeks from discovering my antipathy for physical activity.
It didn’t come out from the tree. I didn’t get that money tree that was planted in my yard because it was already dead.” During high school, Michelle didn’t pay very good attention during school. She states that it was the biggest mistake that everyone makes. “There’s a reason for you to go to school, not only for you to learn everything, but it gives you life lessons.” She calmly states. “ Everything you go through might be the happiest time, the baddest time, the homework that you forgot to do or didn’t do because you wanted to do something else,” she chuckled.
I’ve never wrote a diary before, I thought it was pointless, why write something that no one is going to read? I go back to school in 2 days which is pretty depressing after having such an exhilarating summer. I’ll be going into my final year, which is pretty daunting. Not only am I going through puberty, training to be in the 2016 Olympics, boys and sometimes even girls. ???
Once I got home, I dozed off, and I didn’t care to wake up until the next morning. When I woke up in the morning, I had my breakfast, packed up for today, chose the nicest outfit I could find [hey, If I’m about to win an award, why not look nice?] and went to school. I ended up winning the student of the year award. I wished I could of thanked Stevie, but he was probably sad about the whippings he’s going to get once he gets home.
Freshman year came along and I wanted to attend Sullivan High School. I wanted to come back to my hometown, I was just missing the people I started it all out with in the beginning. My dad and I had all of the paperwork finished already to go for me to attend Sullivan High School in August, but my mom refused and wouldn’t budge to let me go. She didn’t want me going to Sullivan, she wanted me to stay with all of my new friends I had made at Owensville. She thought my best bet would be to stay and proceed to go to OHS.
