Pharmacists are usually the first port of call, and because of their location within communities, they have a unique position in healthcare system. Pharmacy is the science and art of preparing and dispensing medications and drugs to patients. Between all health professionals, pharmacists are often the only ones available for population in many developing countries. Because of that, reasonably-priced and effective pharmaceuticals and offering safe are all responsibilities that are made even more pressing.

• Evaluate the rightness and effectiveness of the patient’s medications.
• Recognize untreated health problems that could be improved or resolved with appropriate medication therapy.
• Follow the patient’s progress to determine the effects of the patient’s medications on his or her health.
• Consult with the patient’s physicians and other health care providers in selecting the medication therapy that best meets the patient’s needs and contributes effectively to the overall therapy goals. [8]
FACTORS AFFECTING THE IMPLEMENTION OF CLINICAL PHARMACY IN UAE :
1. Governmental and hospital administrative aren’t supplying with the required support to implement clinical services.
2. Hospital gives a quite limited polices for clinical pharmacists.
3. Hospital administrators were often concerned about the financial aspect of clinical pharmacists and to make profit and don’t affect the income of the hospital.
4. The patient does not trust the doctors who take other people's opinions.

Pharmaceutical market and industry in UAE has shown good progress over the years due to favourable demographic and economic factors, and also due to the strong government support for healthcare.
2. A lot of pharmaceuticals in UAE are imported, but the government is working hard to reduce dependence on imports by encouraging joint ventures and licensing deals with multinational pharmaceutical companies. Use of generic drugs is also being promoted to decrease the very high drug prices and healthcare burden on the public sector.
3. The UAE pharmaceutical field faces many challenges and obstacles as the local manufacturing sector is relatively small and focuses on basic medicines. The market relies on imports for hi-tech prescriptions as they are not produced locally. For example, in 2010 nearly 64% of pharmaceutical imports came from Europe, around 8% from North America and another 8% from the MENA region. India is the biggest supplier from Asia and accounts for 5% of total imports.
