My own feelings on Christian-theism might be Christian-theism might be unique compared to the feelings of other people. Just like I have learned so far in this class our worldviews are constantly changing through our life as we are experiencing new things. And, that is exactly what is happening to me right now as I am living a missional life abroad. My feelings, passions, and ideas on what Christian-theism has not only been changing through my previous years as being a missionary in the states, but it is also constantly changing as I learning new things abroad as well. My main feelings on Christian-theism based on my experience can be explained by the “ three P 's”is that God is a very personal, practical, and a perfectly planned God. Before …show more content…
I soon learned that “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13) Even though sometimes we have to get some tough love, I think it really shows how personal God really is. Also, as we look at some of the worldview questions we also see how personal god is. Question three is the shines the most of truly how personal God is. Knowing that God created us to be like Him is just amazing to me. Even though God knew everything when He was creating the world, He still thought it was worth creating the universe along with us. That is one true definition of personal love. I think this image is so touching to me because, I long for the day to have my own children of my own and to be able to say “that 's my child, or he/she was just like me when I was young”. Everything we are able to do such as: the ability to gain knowledge, have our own choice, and opinions on life are all due to the fact God wants us to be personal with us. But, He also shows His presence by being practical as

Ordinary Theology offers the conversation starter, "How would we decipher society?" Seminary understudies and ministers work to see how to peruse Biblical writings.
Almost all Americans have heard the phrase “separation of church and state.” However, fewer realize the magnitude of the phrase. Contrary to some people’s beliefs, the majority of the Founding Fathers were deists or had a belief in a God who created the universe but does not interact with it. They understood how religion could ruin governments and needed to be separated in their new nation. The Founding Fathers purposefully left out religion from all government documents and never mentioned the Bible or other religious text while creating the United States.
Worldview Worldview is how we view the world, things and beliefs around us through seeing, hearing. It helps us to answers questions about the makeup of the world and not to make assumptions or have the wrong interpretation to the explanations we are seeking. And finally worldview shows plays active part in our daily lives whether we believe it or not through resources such as television, education, magazines, science, government and other supporting materials. The Question of Origin – From a Christian worldview life begin by an all-powerful and magnificent being God (Genesis 1:1). God then brought for the creation of the heavens and earth along with the light, darkness, evening and morning to be dressed upon the earth.
But mostly in all the time all comes from him and what he what to do for others, like a
Ethics is a strong topic among society today. What is important to some people may have little or no value to others. A person with a Christian worldview would base their ethical dilemma on their beliefs and the instructions that God’s word says. This paper will explain how Joni, who is living her life as a quadriplegic and desires to legally terminate her own life will see the way the Christian worldview bases this ethical dilemma on following the commandments given by God and which decision is correct for her. Ethical Dilemma
I depended on my works for God to be pleased with me and actually love me. I feared His rejection and I became dependent on my self-righteousness. However, God stayed with me and proved His unconditional love over and over. He healed my mind and brought me back into a trusting love relationship with Him. Even though I still struggle with the repercussions of that view, God is working in me and helping me trust Him more each day.
Benchmark Assignment: Ethical Dilemmas Ethics are a key component of one’s worldview, and they guide moral behavior. (Hiles & Smith, 2014) For some worldviews, ethics are a matter of personal interpretations. However, for those who have a Christian Worldview, what is determined as ethical has been set by God and are not up for personal interpretation. (Stefan, 2008)
Incorporation of elements of the modern or postmodern worldview is not compatible with the Christian worldview. Modern and postmodern worldviews are based on human ideas and rejection of God. The loss of the single story holding a community together has led to allowing everyone to create their own story (Sire, p. 216). This process was notated within the time frame of the Greco- Romans when Plato started to explain the order of the world without recourse to myth or divine authority (Goheen & Bartholomew, p. 72). Cultural acceptance of the belief there can be multiple perspectives allows for the
This means going through life when faced with decisions, He does interfere or enforce a predisposed plan upon an individual. Reasoning for this stems from personal everyday actions. Upon waking up, there are many decisions that can be made, all of which can slightly alter the future, yet its feels as though there is no divine power at work when making one of these decisions. Individuals go through mental monologues to come to a decision based on the facts and opportunities presented with them. Saint Augustine claims the very same thing in Book V of the text when he says, “that God knows all things before they happen; yet, we act by choice in all those things where we feel and know that we cannot act otherwise than willingly.”
Perhaps, this is one genuine way God has touched my life. He has taught me to love unconditionally, to help the weak, the poor and the hungry, he gave me a compassionate heart and a deep desire to live my life by his standards, so that no one suffers again by my
