3. Discuss how the two primary value-chain activities below could create value for both the Ryanair Holdings business and its customers:
a) Operation
Operations include all activities associated with transforming input into the final product. In order to create value for both the Ryanair Holdings business and its customers are to keep it operation efficient and to remain focus on low cost.
Ryanair must hire skilled employee in order to ensure the operation was done efficiently without any issues arise. For example, flight attendance should have good communication since their job is to ensure the passengers’ needs are fulfill. If the flight attendance does not have good communication or skill in handling the passengers, this issue arise such give bad impact on the Ryanair image according to unsatisfied customers on the services provided. Other than that, Ryanair also should send their employee to go under training so they can enhance their skills and knowledge especially to the newbie. Ryanair should ensure to punctual in the flight schedule and avoid any flight delay that can cause the customers dissatisfied with the services except something unavoidable such bad weather. Furthermore, Ryanair also could create a sense of place in order to make the customers anticipation about their destination and help them reminisce about a place they were in. By doing this will create customer loyalty and associate Ryanair with positive emotion experience as well as improve customer satisfaction. Other than that, Ryanair also should build close relationship with their customer by using social media to get their feedback and also opinion.
