Organigraphs is an article by Henry Mintzberg and Ludo Van der Heyden. It explains how a company works in terms of making graphs. Through this graphs they could clearly see what should be done and could monitor what is the current state of the company. Unlike organizational graphs organigraphs would give us a more detailed idea on what the company does or how they are doing well. Whilst an organizational chart would only show us the structure of positions in the organization.
An organigraph contains different components that would help us recognize every detail in a company. It would mainly compose of the set, chain, hub, and web. The first one is known to be the set. I have learned that the set is something that acts like a distributor which

The hub is something that can be compared to the control unit of the CPU which directs operations and coordinates with how data should be sent as well. In a hub a person is supposed to act as a manager and the coordinator as well. A manager in terms of deciding and supervising and a coordinator in terms of getting involved with the plans and actions as well. This is mostly where people receive and give information, it is where everyone moves in and out by processing and controlling everything that they are tasked to do. Like a transport hub, it is where passengers and cargos are exchange in, and like a hub in an organigraph, it shows how a manager acts as both the information giver and information controller. It is important that an organization has this factor for we can see that there would be a manager that can do this type of things. They wouldn’t just sit back and command people but they would be also able to help and perform the tasks they have …show more content…
Like the world wide web, we can see that everyone is interacting and is using it. There we can see how people send and receive data and where everyone is active most of the time. In terms of the definition in an organigraph, the web allow communication and movement from people and not just managers that supervise subordinates per organization. Although it might be confusing sometimes and can cause a lot of disorder if not managed well. This type would let us see how dedicated and well expounded the company is. It shows us how effective and free they communicate and interact with their employees and their customers. Organigraphs helps us give an idea how a company works. It helps us develop theories and conclusions if the company if doing fine or if their purpose is being performed well. We can also see how complex or how they act towards their competitors. Organigraphs help us see a different view of a company and it would take a lot of advantage if we can understand it more through this
Get sets of responsibilities for all organization positions with data about doled out divisions, administrators and reporting connections. Real representative names can be added to the graph after the diagram is finished. In the event that sets of expectations are not accessible, make a rundown of positions in light of current operations. Print out a clear authoritative graph you can fill in as you audit the worker list. Fill the outline in on the PC if that is less demanding for you.
Devices like a hub or a switch; has much less capabilities as they are only capable of performing basic network functions. For example, a hub is usually used to transfer data between computers and network devices, but however, it doesn’t analyse or do anything with the data it contains. In the other hand, routers can analyse the data being sent and transferred over a random network, then change how it is packaged and once it has done that it can send it to another network. There are two different types of a routers out there, they are: the router and the wireless router. In the example picture above, the router allows all the computers and other network devices to access the internet.
Furthermore, it is organic and dynamic to the changing environment. This brings flexibility in the organisation and its people, so people initiate change and can adapt quickly to changing
Looking closely at the design of an organization will tell you how it functions from the front lines to the administrative level. Design guides the way strategies are created and determines how they will be carried out. It establishes the jobs, roles and responsibilities of an organization’s members. Essentially, organizational design furnishes a map with a clearly defined goal the organization wants to reach and the route to attain this goal. County offices of education provide services to school districts by taking on tasks that are better handled at a county level due to complexity, resources needed and specialized requirements.
