Nowadays, everyone in the society is trying to do everything as a result of wishing for a bright future. For example, students work hard in their studying because they always expect that they will get a good job in the future. In order to create my bright future, I have to build up good habits first. “Good daily habits are the foundation of success” (Corley, 2009, p.37). The differences between successful people and unsuccessful people are shown through their daily habits. Habits are things we do repeatedly or daily. In any case, knowledge, skill, and desire are included in habits. To build up good habits in our lives, we really require three of them. Anyway, making effective decisions in our lives are involved in choosing good habits. They will directly affect our possibilities of a successful life. According to Covey (1989), there are seven habits of highly effective people which can help us to get success in life. Our characteristic, fundamentally is a part of our habits. Therefore, forming good habits will lead to good characteristics of successful people. We can assess and learn from experiences of other successful people as well as our own. So what kind of characteristics would you expect to be seen in yourself?
