The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, JROTC, was established over a years ago. With the purpose to install core value into high school and middle school students. These values would be to developed citizenship and patriotism, responsiveness to authority, improving communication, developing team building skills and basic military skills.
The JROTC program was first created by the National defense act of 1916. The act was passed by President Wilson. Originally the program was created to motivated students to join as enlisted recruits or officer candidates for the coming war, WWI.
