Throughout the centuries there have been many great leaders that we have all come to know and love. Some of these leaders have been elected and others took their power only by force. Now as the children of the 21st century we must ask ourselves, which of these leaders were good models for us all to follow? The list is immeasurable, there are leaders all around us! So now we question ourselves asking, “Which trailblazers displayed the greatest embodiment of leadership?”
The question is not easy, and steps must be taken to solve the enigma, but as for me there are three leaders that closely resemble the role of the greatest leaders of all time and they are George Washington, Alexander the Great and most of all Jesus Christ of Nazareth. These …show more content…

As stated within The Journal of Southern History, the war for the American Revolution could not have been won had it not been for his perseverance and determination. It states that he displayed 6 different qualities that are still being modeled till this day and are what make him a respectable leader.
These traits are as followed: He believed in his men, He was a man of exemplary character, he treated others with the utmost respect, he held his men accountable, he loved his men, and he placed the welfare of the men ahead of his own. Washington had all these traits inspiring, leading his people into battle and ultimately allowing America to become a free people. George Washington has well earned the right to be among the big three.
Secondly we deviate toward our next leadership model, Alexander the III of Macedon. He makes it among the big three because he was not submissive and never gave up, but solved every problem that came his way.
