There is a program that is used by the VA called Function QUERI (Wang, Virginia, 2018, Vol 13) which stands for Optimizing Function and Independence VA Quality Enhancement Research Initiative program and it partners with clinical leaders, veterans and volunteers to evaluate evidence based clinical programs and utilize volunteers and staff to assist veterans who

As a daughter of a United States Marine, I have a real-life perspective on veterans. I have deep respect for my father, and all veterans who have put their lives on the line for America. My heart really goes out to those soldiers fighting this very moment. My brother-in-law has an old high school friend that went into the National Guard. While this friend was away he encountered a form of great disrespect.
Throughout history, countries are inevitably pulled into conflicts that result in war. These conflicts usually occur because of interests in: economic gain, territorial gain, religion, and nationalism. America, like every country, needs a military to defend itself, especially when tensions arise in other parts of the world and when militia numbers start to decrease. This then allows the government to draft its population to serve in the military. People argue that young men and women’s bright lives are often cut short, and not allowed their Constitutional right to “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness”, but there are many benefits for the nation and the individual by serving one’s country.
Good Morning, I spoke with the Education Department with the Veterans Affairs office. Please explain to me in writing what the paperwork stated that you sent out. I am having such a problem with this situation. At first I was told that there wasn 't any paperwork in the system and now I was told that the paperwork was filled out incorrectly. I understand that you have done your part, I just want to use the correct wording when I have to speak with the VA later today.
I have a few people in my family that are veterans. Their service means alot to me. I admire them for their for their bravery and loyalty to their country. They inspire me in many ways such as to be brave even if the situation requires only a small act of bravery, and to speak out against something I know is wrong. To me veterans need to be honored every day for their service.
Veterans are dealing with a wide variety of issues at home and in the transition out of the military and a smooth transition to a well-paying job is important to settle back into civilian life. While the system is setup to give employment training and valuable assistants to get education and training, there is still a lack of true employment for Veterans. Receiving these benefits are plagued with issues, from late reimbursement to inconsistent training to take their skills learned from the military into the workforce. There is also a large portion of skills learned in the military that have a difficult time applying immediately into jobs, such as specific training on military only applications and machines. As more time passes from when a Veteran leaves the military the harder and harder it will be to even impress employers with those skills, so the shelf life of a good transition into the workforce can be quite short.
“Sonny” Montgomery Center for America’s Veterans, rewrote the original GI Bill and it became what was known as the Montgomery GI Bill. As someone who went to college under the MGIB, I can speak personally when I say if it hadn’t been for it, I may have never went to college. In fact, I almost missed my opportunity to pay into the GI Bill because I thought it was a waste of money that I would never use. At the time I entered the military, college was nowhere in my future and something I thought was not for me. Luckily I did put $100 a month into the program for 12 months and a few years later, I was able to attend college and graduate without taking out a single student loan and no assistance from my parents.
You left your family and friends into a bloody war you could of died but you didn’t mind. You took your life for mine. You made things in life better then if you didn’t go into the war. My papa went into the war and he made it out safe. Those stripes and stars in our flag came from you.
High school seniors are faced with a wide variety of decisions as they approach graduation. They must decide whether or not they are going to attend college, begin working, or do something else. If they do decide to attend college, they also must decide whether to pursue a liberal arts education or a vocational one. A liberal arts education primarily includes a collection of different classes and topics students can choose to take and study. A vocational route will mainly educate students on their specific intended career.

(Military) Being in the military often puts a toll on the men and women who fight for our freedom mentally, resulting in PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Along with being deployed some of my learned skills were acquired when I was assigned as a Fury FSC retention NCO two years ago, and my job was to educate soldiers about what they qualified for and other entitlements. Even though the soldier already knew the skills needed in the Army and had knowledge of the Army, I still had to persuade individuals to why they should reenlist. This required some craftiness on my part as some of these soldiers needed to hear something that they haven't heard
