When Romeo is talking to Friar Lawerence about Juliet, Friar Lawerence says “Young men’s love then lies/ Not truly in their hearts, but in their eyes.” (2.3.67-68) What this quote means is that Young men fall in love with a girl's looks and don't fall in love because they feel a special connection between the two of them. What Friar Lawrence is trying to say is young men rush their love and don't really understand what true love feels like but Romeo constantly assures Friar Lawerence that this is the true love. Also Friar Lawerence warns Romeo about his rapid decisions could lead to unfortunate consequences and young love is usually fake love than real love. When Romeo is near Juliet’s tomb, he says to himself “I dreamt my lady came and found me dead... And breathed such life with kisses in my lips” (5.1.6-7) What this quote means is that Romeo is predicting what will take place inside the tomb. The dream is a reality check for Romeo because although he doesn’t know this, this is how it ends. However, the reason for this extended popularity may be because of the end result, one in which both lovers, Romeo and Juliet, die. With so many variables such as their families’ enmity and the motivation of parent figures such as Friar Lawrence and the Nurse of Juliet, one question looms, who or what is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet?

The people that are to blame are responsible for their deaths because they had to be secretive and told what to do. Mercutio is one of the biggest suspects because he is the fault for Romeo and Juliet’s meeting.
Romeo, Juliet and the End of Love Who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet? Is the tragedy caused by a person or fate? Or maybe even love? Many claim that love builds unity and affection, but when taken to the extreme, like what Romeo did, it tends to end in tragedy and sadness.
This claim is both true, and false at the same time. Friar could’ve sent more servants to Romeo to alert him and Romeo could’ve made smarter decisions. Romeo did not make any better decisions in the book either, he had multiple choices and he decided to go with some rather questionable choices that led to his death. When Romeo was alerted that Juliet had “died” he acted with his heart and not his mind, he immediately set off to get poison just so that he could die with Juliet without even hesitating. And although he was supposed to get the letter from Friar Laurence, Romeo could have gone about this better so that both of them would still be alive right now.
Who is to blame? Two star-crossed lovers fell in love with each other one night and knew it was love at first sight. The only problem was that they were never even supposed to talk to each other. In a tragic event, the lovers both died.

The person most at fault for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is Friar Laurence.
Its is proven that about 20% of high school students think about committing suicide, while 9% make an attempt. The William Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet shows two teenagers desperate to be together, but they had a much different fate. The tragedy shows that the events of the play leading to Romeo’s downfall were his own fault do to some bad decisions. Romeo and Juliet come from a long-lasting family feud, yet they still fall in love. Their meeting led to major consequences eventually ending in death for the two.
The question of who is most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet can be complicated. Almost everybody in the play can be blamed because everybody has pitched in a little. There are many characters in the play by William Shakespeare who wronged Romeo and Juliet. The characters that contributed the most to Romeo’s and Juliet’s deaths are Friar Laurence, Lord Capulet and Paris. First of all, Friar Laurence is responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet because he has done some stuff that Romeo didn’t know about.
Friar Lawrence questions Romeo asking him was Rosaline not the love Romeo was just heartbroken over? The Friar believes that Romeo is moving on too quickly from Rosaline, now wanting to marry Juliet, some girl Romeo had met a few days ago. Friar Lawrence knows that Romeo marrying Juliet after being so heartbroken about Rosaline is bad idea, but that does not stop the Friar from marrying both Romeo and Juliet anyway. Marrying Romeo and Juliet just proves that Friar Lawrence fails to provide proper guidance. Friar Lawrence knows all of these consequences of marrying kids from opposite feuding families but still marries Romeo and Juliet.
In the Elizabethan tragedy “Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare, the characters that are known to be adored, can even be the cause of adversities throughout the beautiful play. Many characters could be accountable for the death of Romeo and Juliet. It might be the Nurse, who had very poor judgement, stringing Juliet along in a relationship that wouldn’t last. Would it be Tybalt, the violent cousin, who resented Romeo? Unexpectedly, the person who is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet is the carefree Romeo.

Family will always be there for you and you can always forgive them when they do something wrong, but sometimes when they go to far you can’t forgive them anymore… This is something that happens in Shakespeare’s “The Tradgedy of Romeo and Juliet.” The purpose of family is for them to love you and take care of you and Tybalt is one of Juliet’s family members but in the end Juliet is doomed for death.

The Capulets are to blame because they weren 't supportive, uptight, and not caring. Lord Capulet was going to disown Juliet for admitting that she didn 't wanna marry Paris. This then causes issues between the couple, and ultimately leads to their death. Next, he is selfish and doesnt think of others. For example, when Friar finds Juliet in the tomb knowing that Romeo is dead he flees the tomb as the watchman approaches. Friar states, “…Stay not to question, for the watch is coming./ Come, go, good Juliet. I dare no longer stay” (Shakespeare V.iii.158-159).
The story is about a tragedy death of two star-crossed lovers, and how they fell in love falling in love. Romeo starts by going after a girl named Rosalina, and then falls madly in love when the beauty of Juliet. Romeo and Juliet meet at the Capulet’s party, and then fall instantly in love, with each other, and get married in the Friar Laurence office. While Romeo and Juliet physically committed the acts that ended there own lives, the long-stand family feuding and fate should be blamed for their deaths.
