Wiping out many native vertebrate species, domestic birds and pets, as well as inflicting emotional trauma to tourists and residents by the potential envenomation of small children. These cats can eat birds, Monkeys, Porcupines, pigs and goat. They can also eat animals bigger than them like deer. Those are only some animals that they can eat. Scientists don’t know lots of what they eat because clouded leopards are endangered species and are very good hiders.

I followed the tall tour guide man to show me around. He advise me that it’s the only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles coexist. It is a home to endangered, rare, and exotic wildlife. Moving by a grey hairy racoon is running and a red snake in the water slithering. The tour man stated that there are twenty-seven know species of snake that live in the Everglades and that only four are venomous.
Some of the things that the wood turtle became endangered from are, illegal collection, farming accidents, road traffic, and habitat destruction. The thing that puts them in most danger is habitat destruction. One of the other things that puts them in danger is raccoons. The raccoons come during the night and steal the turtle’s eggs, and then eat them. To help the wood turtle, people are restoring its habitat, nature centers are keeping a few of them, people are leaving them in the wild, and letting the government know if and where you saw one.

Florida is doing its best to maintain the species, but its getting to a point where its starting to become to late to stop them. It seems that the species has already taken a firm root upon the Florida Everglades. The fear too is that the snake will continue moving more north and spreading itself out into other regions of the US. This is why it is crucial to stop them because different regions contain different species, and most likely, the snakes will be on the higher end because of their size, their sneakiness, and their strength.
How is the presence of Burmese pythons changing the Everglades? The Burmese python is a beautiful snake that can weigh up to 200 pounds and grow up to the length of 23 feet according to Piven 44. These snakes are native to Southeast Asia and ended up in the Everglades. These snakes mean no harm but due to irresponsible owners these snakes have adopted to the Everglades ecosystem.
Snakes can really give a shiver through people 's body. Did you know Burmese pythons can grow about 4 times your size. The Everglades is located in Florida and being taken over by big snakes. This is a bad thing because the Burmese pythons wiping out many species of animals, ten of thousands of these snakes called Burmese Pythons are living in the Everglades, and People are setting up to hunt these snakes with a grand prize of 1,000 dollars. With the snake’s owner not knowing what they were getting into when the snakes got too big they released the snakes to the wild.
To add, Burmese pythons have been found to feast upon a wide assortment of warm blooded creatures and feathered creatures in the Everglades, eve alligator. By going after native wildlife and contending with other native predators, pythons are truly affecting the natural order of south Florida 's environmental groups. Since they were initially archived to be built up in 2000, pythons have progressively been found in peripheral territories, including Key Largo, Marco Island, the Enormous Cypress, and other wildlife administration ranges. In conclusion, not only do invasive species cause natural ruin, but also major monetary effects, which are clear reasons which mostly impact the environment negatively.
