Central reservation system (CRS) (Central Reservation System, 2010) is a computerized system that utilizations for storing and obtaining information and conducting transactions related to services industry such as air travel, hotels, car rental, or activities. Originally designed and operated by airlines, CRS were later extended for the use of travel agencies. Berjaya Hotels & Resorts has used this system successfully for inventory control. Major CRS operations are used for booking and selling tickets for various airlines are known as Global Distribution System (GDS).
