Archie is a member of a group called the Vigils. The Vigils are a group that help keep the school under control. It is Archie’s job to hand out assignments to other students. Most of these assignments were pranks against the teachers. Some examples of pranks he assigned were a student unscrewing the boards, desks, and chairs in a classroom.
Bullying Can Be Prevented Bullying is a form of violence to pick on victims because they are different from their bullies, have insecurity/jealousy or home problems. The hate towards their victim has something to do with the victim having an unusual gift or being intelligent the bullies has yet to become. It is important that this behavior should be prevented or it will become worse. Bullying is one of the main issues public and private schools have to face on a day-to-day basis. When the bully takes it too far, the victim snaps and retaliates by fighting him/her back physically or verbally.
Among the students, especially in the high schools, bullying is some kind of power-seeking and it is a common behavior. The more people get hurt by their words or their secrets, they might get reported by the principal and the principal might ask to see them in the office. And some of them they might know themselves. This shows the true feelings kids are Holding back rather than showing how they truly feel they have to hide it do to this culture fixed on masculinity.

The long terms effects of bullying can be damaging to a child or adolescent. Children who learn they are able to get away with aggression and violence will continue to do so in adulthood (“What are the Effects of Bullying?”). Long term effects of bullying include: difficulty in putting trust in others, self-esteem issues, increased tendency to want to be alone, and seeing one’s self as being victimized, thin-skinned, and overly sensitive (“The Long Term Effects of Bullying”). Children who bully or even children that are bullied can be aggressive towards their spouse or child in adulthood (“Effects of Bullying”). Those who bully are more likely to have convictions and violations as adults (“Effects of Bullying”).

According to Sally and Denise,the problem in school violence reflects a variety of social,mental health,political and educational issues(Driscoll and Geier 2). We learn bullying from our parents and the people around us. The social stratification of bullying is caused by bullying and is often a precursor of some sort of adult behavior( Lee and Geier 1).When people are bully,it can lead into violence towards other people.It can lead into high publizied rampages,homcides,rape and aggravated assault(Driscoll and Geier 2).Bullying can be in all sorts of differet ways that a person can be harrassing someone. Some examples are taunting,exclusion,insults,teasing,abuse,threats,humiliation and mob activity(Debarah and Ginsburg 2).
Workplace bullies constantly involve overwhelmingly negative actions at work including the need to control, humiliate and embarrass to cause some kind of pain or personal distress. It can be associated with office politics, unclear expectations, dishonesty, withheld information, etc. Not only does workplace bullying have a connection with abusive supervision, it also has an increase with negative workplace performances. By promoting ethical practices, it could reduce workplace bullying and abnormality among co-workers. Agervold and Mikkelsen (2004), in one of the first studies, found that employees who were frequently exposed to bullying reported less job control, work tasks which were more unclear or contradictory, a management style which was less employee-oriented, and fewer social contacts with co-workers.
Imagine an unpopular student, getting bullied and picked on at school. Going home after a long day feels like a blessing for that child. However, upon turning on their phone, they realize it has been bombarded with cruel messages and images. The constant messages are having a harmful effect on the student’s well-being, and they are trapped in a never-ending loop of bullying. Some argue cyberbullying is not a ‘real’ problem, however, cyberbullying is a significant issue that needs to be prevented because it commonly affects youth, it leads to physical injuries, and it causes psychological harm.
