Nigeria border is having a bad reputation through the porosity of the border which is easily accessible illegally for committing different kinds of crime like smuggling of people, trafficking of people, foodstuff, cloth, vegetable oil, fake drugs sand illegal weapons. Nigeria share boundary with African countries like Cameroon, Niger, Chad, Benin Republic and Guinea with different legal and illegal routes connecting them together. Moreover, porosity of the border has made human trafficking easier for syndicate and traffickers of human being as a result of vast areas of land in Nigeria and easy accessibility of some certain area. Example, Saki and Ijio in Oyo state is a route to Cotonuo (Kutonu). Human trafficking has become a major issue of interest to all societies of the world in recent times. It is seen as a major problem or issue which is an infringement or violation of fundamental human right of citizens that negates the right of citizen as stipulated by the constitution.
