ABSTRACT
In this increasingly modern technology era, the uses of video as an audio visual material is an intermediate tool for foreign language teaching and learning in the classroom. The uses of video in the classroom can help teachers improve their understanding in the class. The purpose of this article is to provide accurate and important information to foreign language teachers so they can be practice in the classroom.

The advantages of using audio-visual material such as video in the teaching and learning process of foreign language is that a teacher needs to show the video while teaching and is free to stop the video and repeat the video whenever he wishes.
