When becoming a Medical Assistant the education of post-secondary school can and will come in handy. Some jobs do let people come in and work that just have a high school diploma; however, having a degree would more than likely get you the job and would be more of a guarantee. “Programs for medical assisting are available from community colleges, vocational schools, technical schools, and universities and take about 1 year to complete” (Bureau of Labor Statistics). If you had wanted to go to school another year longer would get you an associate’s degree and the more education, the better your chances of getting the job.
I have always, like my dad, wanted to major in something in the medical field. Another reason why I want to become a nurse practitioner is that I have always had a passion about helping others. With this job I can communicate with the patients in their times of intense physical and mental sufferings. For example, If my patients are scared of getting a surgery, I could educate them that surgery is not always a bad choice. I would explain the procedure of the operation in a way that they could fully comprehend. In doing this, I can ease of their fear. It is immensely important to be able to translate the potentially frightening experience of surgery into the vastly beneficial procedure it is. Medical field is filled with different varieties of professions. The medical field is health professions by doctors, nurses and other allied health care services that have a passion for helping others. Since high school I always wanted to do something in the medical field. Now that I have taken a few steps into deciding my career, I want to become a medical assistant. A medical assistant are multi-skilled health care professional who are highly trained to perform administrative or clinical duties in an ambulatory or immediate rare settings. After watching my cousin De’Andra, who is also a medical assistant educational for LPN it makes me more passionate. She works for Life Line Screen Forward for home helping and medical services. She choice this career field due to the fact you can add a higher range and it will always be needed.

Effective communication is a vital part of your role as a teaching assistant. Children and young people learn to communicate through the responses of others, if they do not feel that their contribution is valued, they are less likely to initiate communication themselves.
This paper will explain the seven principles of patient-clinician communication. It will then apply three of those principles to my interactions with my patients. Next, it will describe three methods being used in my area of practice to improved communication between the patients and clinicians. It will ultimately choose one of those principles that applies best to my practice and clearly describe how I use it. It will describe ethical principles that can be applied to issues with patient-clinician communication. Finally, it will explain the importance of ethics in communication and how patient safety is influenced by good or bad team communication.

One to one communication: One to one communication is a conversation between two people; which does not include a third person. This type of conversation has a start; which means the conversation has to start off with a greeting, one to one communication al so includes a middle section, which is when you and the person discuss the topic or of what your both going to be speaking about. This particular type of communication also needs an ending, for example when the conversation is coming to an end you can end it by saying “good bye” or “see you later”.
According to Julia Wood (2004), “communication is a systemic process in which individuals interact with and through symbols to create and interpret meanings.
