Most people would not think about the concussions, the diseases or the memory loss they gain as they become an adult. Football is too dangerous of a sport and is not as fun it seems. Although football seems like a fun sport, it has many consequences, concussions, getting diagnosed with brain diseases, such as CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy), and having memory loss as they grow into their adult life. In the magazine article “Football Under Fire” the author introduces problems that football players face, such as concussions. Lately, Accidents on the field have been under observation which includes concussions (the action of the brain being shaken in the skull); brain traumas are being observed as well. These head accidents have been found to cause damage to the nerve cells in the brain; the damage may then lead to a “serious brain disorder called chronic traumatic encephalopathy also known as CTE.” In the “2015 season” alone, at least “5 players were killed due to injuries during games.” In that case, some injuries are still not able to be prevented even with padding and helmets, such as being paralyzed due to hard hits or other injuries.

My opinion is that it is very well a dangerous sport because you can get hit hard and could get knocked out or break neck, legs, arms ect.
Youth football is a sport that is played in various places, many people think that it is not dangerous and kids should be able to play, while others think that this sport is too dangerous and should not be played. Based off of all the evidence that I have found through research, it has let me to agreeing with the fact that youth football is too dangerous for young children to be playing. This sport has pros to it, some of which are very good, but the con side outways it with extraordinary pieces of evidence, these are the things showing that this sport is not to be played at this age and overall. There are a few pieces of evidence and facts that show proof of why it is dangerous and why this can’t be stopped. Some of the reasons are very serious, such as CTE which is a brain disease caused by rapid hits to the brain, this has lifetime affects and changes you in many ways, in worst cases this can even cause death.
