The consumers in the developed country enjoy a wide variety of goods and services at a relatively low price, that may contribute to them having an improved standard of living. Therefore, globalization has benefited the consumers of the developed countries. In developing nations TNCs have the technical ability to exploit the country in several ways. They can exploit natural resources such as oil. Exploitation of low environmental standards can also occur. In underdeveloped countries, the governments are often weak and the environment is not their first priority.
