The three personal beliefs I choose are respect others, accountability, and truth. I believe my personal beliefs would benefit students not only in school, but also in everyday life. Respecting others is essential for students in developing relationships with peers and teachers. Students who learn to respect each other and authority will develop into productive citizens. It not only allows them to respect others, but also to respect themselves and to make good choices.
While meaning of intrinsic reward is intrinsic reward involves helping employees or students who find success and satisfaction in an act. intrinsic rewards helps build confidence in an employee or student and his ability to succeed at work or in college. intrinsic rewards can give lasting satisfaction in work and education as well as establishing the attitude of success all at work or for a student may be in the classroom. in my opinion
This is another great attribute to San Tan Foothills. Your teachers, not only teach you and help you learn the subjects needed to get to college and to get a fantastic job, they seem like your friends. We can joke around and also have respect at the same time. These teachers have so much care and love for their students. It makes San Tan Foothills a fun and easy going school to go to.
Various teaching strategies such as cooperative learning, active learning, role play and games and pedagogic tools are being integrated in educational theories in meaningful and useful ways to encourage task or learning achievements. By adopting these several motivational strategies in the classroom will affect the enthusiasm of the students in a positive way, thus promoting and sustaining
Effective communication is important in developing positive relationships because it is how we, as individuals express our needs, desires and understanding between us. How effectively we communicate will determine our relationships with each other ongoing. Communicating effectively will make children and young people feel secure around you therefore enabling trust to speak up and participate in a class and confirm understanding of what is being taught or the confidence to ask for help. Achieving effective communication will have benefits in a classroom by setting boundaries for behaviour and expectations of learning. When done effectively the children will learn to respect you as a role model whilst you are on the child 's agenda.
The Use of Positive Reinforcement To increase the overall behavior of students, positive reinforcement is a motivating technique to be used in a classroom. Positive reinforcement is a gentle and effective method to implement discipline in the classroom, where students understand the importance of good behavior, and as an outcome students behave well (S, 2016). According to Charlie S (2016), positive reinforcement has been seen to be a more viable procedure than punishment. Actually, it can make children to concentrate on the positives and encouraging them is a valuable approach to guarantee good behavior. Mather and Goldstein (2015) stated that behaviors can retained or changed with appropriate outcome.
Self motivation beliefs These beliefs centre the student and allow for the completion of the forethought phase. Self-efficiency which in this case is students’ belief about their ability to learn a task (Zimmerman 2002) , is a key element in these beliefs. "Self-efficacy is extremely important for self-regulated learning because it affects the extent to which learners engage and persist at challenging tasks. Higher levels of self-efficacy are related positively to school achievement and self-esteem.” (Schraw et al, 2006) Outcome expectations can be regulated by the teacher for example, if a student can see how a certain task is relatable to how she will use it in the future she is more likely to want to acquire the proposed knowledge. Performance The performance phase is generally seen as two separate disciplines.
All of them are related to one another. But, among all the above factors, the teacher has the most important role for efficient and quality learning. Markley (2011) stated that Good and qualified teachers are essential for efficient functioning of educational systems and for enhancing the quality of learning. A good teacher and actions to be taken on his part in the classroom play a vital role in provoking effective and efficient learning on the part of the students. Parents trust their children to be taught and educated at school, to be hoped that they will become good and qualified human beings.
Third, professional development days is very beneficial, because elementary teachers need to constantly prepare themselves to efficiently teach students. Because, school districts can sometimes change the format of the standardized exams or create new objectives. Lastly, is making a difference in the lives of the students, because teachers will feel satisfied and proud whenever the student has accomplished their goals. The teacher will also feel more motivated, because they can see that they made a difference in the lives of their
According to Small Business () the benefits of positive feedback are that it "promotes engagement" in the classroom and with assigned tasks, "boosts performance" in both that class and other classes and that it "encourages wanted behaviours" in class among their peers. So perhaps by providing more positive feedback in the classroom, it can lead to a more positive environment and provide the students with motivation the reach and exceed their
CRITIQUE OF ARTICLE: I thought this to be an excellent article that provided a clear understanding of the paraeducator’s role in the classroom and how to make the educational team a success. There were several key suggestions that I know as a regular educator would be and have been excellent tools for my understanding of new strategies and teaching techniques. I can see where these would be extremely beneficial for the paraeducator as well. I love the way the authors say to include the paraeducators in setting the tone for the classroom by creating the shared philosophy together. It will make both the paraeducator and the teacher clear on what is desired to be accomplished for the school year.
