2. People speak other languages, but fortunately English is used almost everywhere. They have different attitude towards many things, for example in the United States people are not so close with their relatives as they are in India. The cuisine is also different. In many countries people prefer to eat non-vegetarian meals and the Indian cuisine is mostly vegetarian.

• What are you usually doing then?
My favorite part of the day is late evening between 11pm and 1 am. It is time when everyone else at my place is sleeping so the house is really quiet. Streets around are empty and one can hear the sounds of nature. The weather after hot afternoon becomes nice and cool. I usually sit in my room with my windows open and read a book or listen to the music. Sometimes I work with my laptop when there is something important to do or I chat with my friends. I can also sit in the garden when it is not raining. I go to sleep late, because I don’t feel sleepy before midnight. And in the morning I wake up
Located on 843 acres in the concrete jungle of Manhattan, Central Park is over two and a half miles long from the North to South, and half a mile East to West. The park is divided into two sections, known as the North Park and South Park. The main differences that can been seen between the two are that the North is more heavily wooded, and has a lot more historic sites and romance, while the South Park is more artificially designed, and pastoral. There are multiple entrance gates from all around the park for guests to enter to go to one of the many different parts of the park.

realized what it actually meant, I erased it in embarrassment and did not fill in that portion of the paper. Anyways, from fifth through eighth grade is when I got more appreciative of nature. Belle Valley South had a courtyard in the middle of the building, and I loved going to it everyday to eat. It was always quiet, serene, and devoid of all the other students whom were terrified of something as simple as bees or ladybugs. I grew a little sad when it got to the colder months and we had to eat inside.
After the renovations, Central Park was no longer a sight of Hoovervilles, but a pleasant scenic park (“Central Park Improvements”). Today Central Park is not only one of New York’s many tourist attractions, but one of the most visited urban parks in the
America is one of the richest and safest place in the whole wide world. I was born in Egypt and came to California when I was 10 years old, I love it here. The reason I came to America was because of safety, but now that a lot of people have weapons it 's not as safe anymore. We should make a law about limiting people’s weapons and only people who actually need it shall have it.
When I was six years old, living in Ethiopia, my dad won an American green card visa lottery among 53,000 people. Although it was exciting news, family members were discouraged because my dad could not afford the visa processing and traveling expense. However, he found a sponsor in Seattle, which allowed him to settle in America. As soon as he found a good house and a stable job, he started the process for me and my family. Multiple errors and obstacles delayed our processing for five years.
There is an old Moorish proverb that reads, “He who does not travel, does not know the value of man.” That quote resonates deep within me because I have a yearning to use my education to empower those in need. In order to do so, I need to see and experience the world outside of the one I am accustomed to. Curiosity is one of the traits that define the person that I am; because of this trait I always ask questions about the world around me and the people I meet. This is one of the driving forces behind my desire to venture outside of the United States to learn a new language and culture.

The National Park Service offers many important things to the United States. In the article, "A Monumental Fight," Katy Steinmetz states that national parks offer the use of scientific exploration, historical research, and tourism for travelers (32). Park lovers voice out that parks are a part of history and is the home for many animals. While others are arguing that the National Parks might need a cut in funds.
Cultural competency: Indians Culture competency is defined as one has the knowledge, the abilities and the skill to deliver care congruent with the patient’s cultural beliefs and practices (Purnell, 2013). As a nurse or a health care provider, increasing ones consciousness of culture diversity improves the possibilities for health care practitioners to provide competent care (Purnell, 2013). Nurses and all health care providers should be aware of other cultures to provide the best care that they can for that individual. Developing a relationship with diverse cultural groups involves good interpersonal skills and the application of knowledge and techniques learned from the physical, biological, and social sciences as well as the humanities (Purnell, 2013). I am choosing to select the Indian culture for my first assignment.
One of my favorite memories growing up is how much time I spent reading. Whenever I got a new book I couldn 't put it down. I remember that I would always read on the bus ride home. Reading was something that I liked to do. As I’ve gotten older my choice of books has changed alot, a different genre for each of my phases.
My Journey to America Moving from Nigeria to the United States permanently feels great, but at the same time it is sad leaving some of your loved ones and family behind. This change has entirely affected my personality positively. Why?
