The world has always had battles that people will always remember like the Lexington and Concord and the Capture Of Savannah battle. Lexington and Concord was the first battle that Great Britain lost to America. The Capture Of Savannah, however, was the first battle in the south that the British won. The battle of Lexington and Concord was the first engagement of the American Revolutionary War. Lexington and concord and capture of Savannah battle are significant because one it was the beginning of the British push in the south.
My unit was one of the last to leave, and we had many casualties. On October 21, we fought in the Battle of Balls Bluff. In May through July of 1862, we were part in the Peninsula Campaign and the Seven Days Battles near Richmond, Virginia. We were part of the First Brigade, Second Division, Second Corps of the Army of the Potomac.

The battlefield gave Germany the upper hand as their trenches were located on a hill. Therefore giving Germany a commanding view of the British trenches and troops. Britain and France had tried on countless occasions to capture the area, however they were forced back by German artillery.
The last battle of the war was the Battle of New Orleans. This battle was the war winning battle. According to The American Journey textbook, it states “At the Battle of New Orleans, Americans achieved a decisive victory.” Some people think that the British won because that had held more land during the war.
In two of the three key battles mentioned George Washington was the commander and led the U.S. to victory, after the war George Washington resigned his commission. The peace treaty signed in Paris ended the conflict of the war and the British left the U.S. in defeat taking all that supported Great

On October 8, at Bemis Heights, Burgoyne attacked the American troops again, but with his own troops weakened.
I picture myself in the battle called the antietam battle and we was facing the gettysburg i figure that it was going to be a great and tough one but we the antietam out number them we played smart, we dropped them one by one silently headshots , they didn’t know why there man was leaving so quickly they stopped and said wait a minute why our group is getting small ? One of the leaders said. I was a sniper man taking them out the good thing is they didn’t hear any gunshots all they saw was there man lying on the ground with blood on their skin one of their men was down the war lasted for a couple of weeks this is why the war didn’t last long like the other war did. 1(we had more men than they did) 2.
The battle of Antietam was near Sharpsburg, Maryland and was on September 17, 1862. This battle was between the Union and Confederates, Maj. Gen. George B. McClellan was for the union and Robert E. Lee was for the Confederates. This battle was the single bloodiest day, there were around 25,00 casualties altogether from both the Union side and the Confederates side. A couple engagements of this battle were Battle of Harpers Ferry, during which a portion of the Confederate Army under General Stonewall Jackson captured the Union garrison at Harpers Ferry; and the Battle of South Mountain, which involved three pitched battles McClellan’s Army of the Potomac had to fight to pass through Blue Ridge Mountains to meet Lee’s forces.
The confederates surprised the union soldiers which resulted in a confederate win. There were many other battles, however there is one that really stands out. The most known battle, and the deadliest battle, Gettysburg. The battle at Gettysburg resulted with by far the most deaths. With over 50,000 casualties, this battle would be remembered by all.

I look down, I have a body, but why does it feel so peculiar. The last thing I remember is dying at the French & Indian war. I start walking, all I see are woods. I keep on walking for what feels like miles, until I find a colony. I start walking through the streets, there aren’t many people outside.

Life at Valley Forge Brave, have no fear of someone or something. American soldiers represent bravery. The huts of the soldiers were very long and wide. The fireplace was in acceptable condition. No beds in the huts just straw and mud.
Civil War The year was 1861 and the first battle had already begun. The country was now divided as two teams, the confederates and the unions. I wasn’t looking forward to the upcoming battle that was about to happen. I sat in my tent in silence, thinking about what might happen.
