Knowing the controversy over homework, students should be assigned homework typically because it can lead to the advancement of great study habit,allow parents and students to interact more,allow students and teachers to communicate,and progress your skills in most subjects which can develop responsibilities.

Beyond accomplishment, homework can moreover lead to the advancement of great study habit and an acknowledgment that learning can occur at home as well as at school. For example,homework can get students to encourage themselves to study because they are practicing which is extending their learning at home as well. (Source A). This can lead students to receiving better grades by practice. Also, students can prepare for assignments by studying with their homework. The National Education Association state that, “More than three fourths (78%) of students have been achieving high score rates on State Tests, due to the amount of homework that is being assigned.” (Source C). This can extend the students knowledge and learning skills.

Furthermore, homework allows parents and students to interact more. For example, students can inform their parents about what they learned in school, earlier that day. (Source A). This will enhance their understanding of what goes on in class by them being notified by their child. Also, parents should be …show more content…

Doing homework is also a great way to develop responsibilities. Assigning work one day and knowing that it has to be done by the next day, will create a sense of promptness by turning their work in on time. (Source B). This will encourage students to be way more organized. A student can also take responsibility if they didn 't pay attention in class and now struggle with homework. Also, a student being absent can affect that student. Therefore, they should take responsibility by finding out what the homework was. Paying close attention to the teacher when she is teaching, can also improve your learning
