This particular study attempts to investigate the relationship between organizational performance, organizational commitment, organizational behaviour and quality initiatives towards six sigma implementation in Renesas Semiconductor (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd, Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang. Apart from that, this section will include the background of study, problem statement, research objectives, research question, definition of key terms, significance of the study, limitation of the study and the organization of the study.

Chapter one include the background of study, problem statement, research objectives, research question, definition of key terms, significance of the study, limitation of the study and the organization of the study. Chapter two which is the evolution of six sigma explain the history of Six Sigma, what is Six Sigma?, the Six Sigma roadmap, the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology, design for Six Sigma (DFSS) / DMADV, the Six Sigma business scorecard, the Six Sigma belt system, evidence of Six Sigma success, why Six Sigma is not Total Quality Management (TQM) and the ISO 9000 certification.
Chapter three is the literature review that explains the existing literature of the related variable on organizational performance, organizational commitment, organizational behaviour and quality initiative to research and discuss in depth to explain the significance of the study being done.
