The Holocaust is the mass murder of Jews under the German Nazi regime during the period 1941–45. More than 6 million European Jews, as well as members of other persecuted groups, such as gypsies and homosexuals, were murdered. Anne Frank was a young girl who had to live in a secret annex with her family starting July 6Th. The Van Pels family joins them a week later. Anne Frank and Jeanne Wakatsuki have many similarities and differences throughout their lifetimes on the run from the war.

The most efficient ways to respond to conflict are through a positive attitude, perseverance, and resilience. It is important to understand why problems occur, so they can be easily resolved. Being the ¨leader¨ of the situation, and ¨killing with kindness¨ are solutions that work in many conflicts. Many times, the problem between two people is fixed because of someone making a nice gesture, comment, etc.

I think that the most disturbing part of Anne Frank's story was that Anne and Margot died just a month before the camp they had been sent to, Bergen-Belsun was liberated. I think that this is the most disturbing part because for two years Anne had tremendous courage and she was so close to freedom. In Anne's diary she writes, "I can shake off everything as I write; my sorrows disappear, my courage is born. " The story of Anne Frank is disturbing all around, but the fact that she could not live to see who she would become is devastating to me. Although Anne's story is cruel, some outcomes aren't.

This story is abut a girl that was writing her daily days while she was in the holocaust She was venting her fears and frustrations, and contemplating her everyday life. She was given the diary as a present from her parents in 1942, and named it Kitty. Through her diary writing, Anne Frank was in many ways her own counsellor in a time of great suffering and tribulation. She realized that writing down her thoughts and feelings could help her cope with the anxiety of the war and Nazi persecution.

When Hanukkah came she find everybody a present knowing that there wasn't much to give and she didn’t really like dussel but still gave him a present. The story takes you through their everyday lives of hiding in the annex which also includes arguing and times of happiness.
