By the term of Sustainable development, we mean the organizing principle in order to meet development goals for human, while simultaneously sustaining natural systems’ ability to provide the natural resources and ecosystem services from which the society and economy depend on. The coveted outcome is a state of society where living, conditions and resource use continue to meet human needs without undermining the stability and integrity of the natural systems.

Qualitative Research is also used to disclose trends in thought and opinions, and look into the problem deeper. The data collection methods vary between using unstructured or semi-structured techniques. Some common methods, typically in a small size sample, include focus groups, individual interviews, and participation/observations.

Main differences between the two research methods are shown in Figure 1. Quantitative and qualitative research methods are two general approaches to gathering and reporting data. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages, and each of these approaches is appropriate for answering specific types of questions. The main difference between them is that quantitative research includes statistical data and method whereas qualitative research entails no statistical data. To begin with, in order to identify common challenges in the management of “sustainable construction”, we have to conduct a qualitative research method, focusing on small groups consisting of professionals and industries in the field of construction.

An Environmental Management System (EMS) is a system that enables an organization to meet its natural objectives through reliable audit, assessment, and change of its ecological execution. The supposition is that this steady audit and assessment will recognize open doors for enhancing and actualizing the natural execution of the association. The EMS itself does not direct a level of natural execution that must be accomplished; every association's EMS is customized to its own particular individual destinations and targets.
