In my eighth grade opinion George Washington was one of America 's greatest leaders of all time. He was first introduced to the public eye when we fought in the Revolutionary war. He fought off them off in a huge bloody battle that matched the British’s coats. He was a stern man and he wouldn’t abandon his men for anything. He used his very intelligent brains to strategically plan his crossing of the Delaware.
This was a big add on to his resume for becoming the president. Here he also showed his leadership skills and grew his favoritism over the people. Then as it got closer to the next election he didn’t run but he helped campaign for William McKinley. William ended up winning the election but did not finish up his term as he was shot and died eight days prior. So, with that Theodore Roosevelt, the Vice President at the time was sworn in and took the role as President of the United States.
The best president was Theodore Roosevelt. The four qualifications that justify this are: military experience, effective communication skills, large support for environmental conservation, and his ability to accomplish major goals and legislation from the beginning to the end of his presidency. Roosevelt was not a perfect president, but for being the youngest president at the time, he served in many political and military positions that made him a brilliant leader and one of the best U.S. presidents. A president who has former military experience provides valuable insight to strategy and diplomacy. Being a highly decorated war hero and former Assistant Secretary to the Navy made Roosevelt a prime choice for a president with military experience.
Reagan: The Most Influential Some people may think any of the 45 United States Presidents are corrupt politicians, that they are only trying to accomplish reelection or simply making them stand out in history. Although, there is one president who stood out amongst them all, who “was committed to absolute integrity. His trustworthiness was recognized by those he dealt with in Congress, in politics, and foreign leaders throughout the world” (Meese). That man is Ronald Reagan, aka. “The Great Communicator,” who, when listing the top presidents in American history, would be towards the top every time.
When the revolution started in New England, they were the only colony that had felt affected by the British government. Virginia was the largest British colon and Washington felt that they deserved recognition. Although Washington had a lot of experience with frontier warfare, he didn’t have enough experience to wage war on the most powerful nation. Washington did have one thing going for him though, he was courageous and smart enough to always stay one step ahead of the enemy. In 1776 Washington and his army had a victory.
He overcame his rough childhood and became one of the most powerful leaders of all time. Without this man, the colonies would never be as successful as the were. He created the basis of our federal government and became our first President. Therefore, George Washington deserves to be in the Revolutionary Hall of Fame for his determination to fight, giving our military more strength, and the many great decisions he made in office. First, Washington has been determined his whole life.
The strongest president should be someone who do anything for his country.Always try to help his people.Perisdent should be a father to his people ,leaderwho care about them, and no matter what he will help thm for example George Washington. George washington was "reflects the love people have for this great leader"(Weston, 1), that prove that george washington was a great leader. George Washington was one of the strongst president in America that why in his time he rufused to run for the third time even though his citizen time was over. Washington was "interested in retiring from public life, but he was never one to turn away when his nation needed him"(Weston, 6), that proven that he care about his nation, he did not life his nation
In the sea of names listed in American history, the name of George Washington will always be remembered as one of the brightest, if not the brightest, of them all. The fact that this man was the first president of the United States of America has very little to do with this; it is his personality that made him stand out. George Washington was more than just a politician – he is a national pride; a loyal man who’d shaped one of the greatest nation in this world, the United States of America. America wouldn’t be what it is today without him.
Jackson no doubt, was an excellent military man and leader. He had courage others dreamt of having and was also a very good outspoken speaker, not afraid to display his beliefs. Jackson became famous with his military leadership. In the war of 1812, Jackson served as major general and led the U.S. Army against the “Creek Indians”, who were allies of the British. The war was concluded after Jackson and his men (including Sam Houston & David Crockett) defeated the Creek Indians at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend.
Every president of the United States should reflect an impeccable character. George Washington was trustworthy and well respected among the citizens. John Adams, a founding father, even helped draft the Declaration of Independence. Occasionally, a president will be elected who lacks the appropriate behavior of a president, even though he can guide the people. Andrew Jackson was such a man.
