Soccer helped me transition to adulthood by teaching me life skills within the game. There are so many lessons to be learned within the game of soccer, such as “when life knocks you down just get back up and keep going”. In soccer if you fall down the game doesn 't stop, or no one stands there and waits for you to get up, everything just keeps going and that’s the same thing in the real world, no one is going to stand there and wait for you when something
I believe that God put soccer into my life because it brings me happiness and teaches me life lessons such as leadership along with teamwork. Besides soccer, my life does not reflect one of a Transcendentalist.

Both the official and his opponent, Hagen tried to tell him not to do it, but he knew it was the right thing to do. He ended up losing this tournament by 1 stroke in the end. Everyone had said that he should have won without the penalty, but he still believed that he lost by the rules of golf.

Robinson’s determination on and off the field also sparked the creation of his foundation which impacts thousands of young lives every year. Jackie did not waste his opportunity in the major leagues and that example has been passed onto the kids in his foundation who have a 98% graduation rate. The game of soccer, in and of itself is very simple, a rectangle field two goals, two teams, one ball. The simplicity of this game allows i to be by far the most popular sport on the planet by viewers and players, kids in Ghana can express themselves using a ball made out of trash and goals made out of trees and Cristiano Ronaldo can express himself in front of millions of viewers on the best field on the planet but fundamentally the game is all the same, no gimmicks, nothing special. My dad being british very much followed the same path as me, playing from a young age although he is not as good as he used to be he still enjoys playing and watching the game at every chance he gets. After high school i aspire to be a collegiate level soccer player, from there i just would like to become as good as a soccer player as i can be and enjoy every second i play of the beautiful
For the past five years I have dedicated my life to soccer, and school, of course. This time of my life has consisted of driving an hour and forty-five minutes to and from Virginia Beach, Virginia, as well as getting the least amount of sleep anyone could think of. Since I was a little girl I have always had a dream to play soccer in college and proudly represent my school. Well, that dream is finally becoming a reality, but so is becoming an adult.

I am inspired by Tadeusz because of his perseverance when times were tough with the Abrahamer family. He did whatever he could to help them. I am also inspired by him because of what he did on the soccer field. He incorporated minorities along with Jews onto the team when other teams were not doing so. Tadeusz, possibly one of the Tzadikim, is one of the most righteous people to live in the recent times because of his resilient effort to help the Jews and other minorities not only during the Holocaust, but also before on the soccer
Heading is a very unique skill to soccer, and many times a head ball is won by the defense which the starts the attack, allowing forwards to retreat. If you head the ball properly, it will be painless and fun. To head the ball properly, the ball must come in contact with the sweet spot on your head. There are two types of headings: defensive heading and offensive heading. Defensive heading is a direct ball that is aimed towards a teammate so you can maintain possession.
Little did his parents know it would result in early practices in Richmond, games hours away, and spending their weekends on the field. Torre played on a house league team, the Roanoke Star travel club, state ODP, and Hidden Valley High School. Sophomore year of high school, Torre tore his ACL and was out for a while to recover. But, his passion never died down for the sport. Playing on high level teams allowed Torre and his best friend, Will, to travel to places like Costa Rica and Germany to compete.
It’s probably because I am the youngest on the team. I feel like some of my teammates doubt me because I am two years younger than they are and smaller than most of them. Because of this, and because I just love playing soccer, I spend a lot of my free time juggling or heading a soccer ball. I practice these skills a lot, but it had never seemed to pay off in a game yet. It was nearing the end of the game and we were winning 4-0.
High and his name is Logan Northup from Sigourney. I have inspired my brothers to play every year and my Dad coaches them too but they have never been undefeated.
