School is planning to change to a new and healthier lunch menu. This may eliminate some lunches that the students actually like. They should not switch to a healthier lunch menu because if the students think the new menu looks nasty they will not eat it and they would not have any food through the day. Mostly every week there are some lunches that students love and can not wait for the day to come so they can have lunch. Breakfast food is supposed to last you until lunch and if students dont eat breakfast then they are going to have a long day ahead of them. Every week through out the school year there are some lunches that students love and can not wait for the day to come so they can have that certain meal at lunch. If students actually like the lunch that is given to them the school would not have to worry about which student has or has not eaten lunch through the day. Having lunch is an important meal through the day because it is in the middle of the day and some students are exhausted from sitting in a classroom since 8 am. If students start packing their own lunch and not eating the cafeteria lunch then the school will be wasting food and possibly even money because the students don't want to eat it. Parents on the other hand might wonder why their child is coming home always hungry and it would be because the child doesn't like the new lunch menu at school. Then the school will have angry parents at their office desk yelling and complaining about the menu being changed because their child is going all day starving due to them not liking the food. Some of the students might blame it on the cafeteria workers when its not their fault at all, which could lead to the lunch lady's to quit their job or start complaining to. Everyone has a different opinion but this one is mine School lunches should defiantly stay the same no matter what anyone says.
Growing up healthy eating is encouraged for many people. Some debate that schools should encourage healthy eating as well. However others believe that it is not a schools choice about what children eat. Many students do not care for change in their everyday lives, but a great place to start is in our school foods. When suggesting to change school lunches i feel it is a smart idea. School lunches a lot of the time are frozen foods that need to be heated up and are fast, easy meals that do not take long to prepare. I know that i am sick of eating the same old foods week after week. So changing our lunches will be something new, and change can be a good thing.
The principal is trying to change school lunch menu's to healthier meals. I strongly believe that this is a good idea to change the lunches because of the following reasons: healthier meals makes kids grow big and strong, it gives you more energy to move around, and it taste delicious. Schools all around should consider changing their lunches for the better of their student. This is for the better of the student to have healthy food. Every day students enjoy their lunches at school. They always enjoy eating their delicious meals where they have the option to chose what they want.
