Finally it's the summer vacation I've been craning for. I went to Cheonan city hall today. I forgot to bring an umbrella with me, thinking that it won't be raining. I left the window wide open when I was departing, which is a great indication of how I was'n expecting it to rain.
I went to the barber's academy I've been few months ago. I made a mistake of getting there too early, ending up having to wait for an hour. But I think the absence of any form of charge is so great that the significance of time I spent waiting can be mitigated by the money I saved by doing so, since I won't be making the equivalent amount of money if I were to work for the same hour.
I heard lightening strikes while I'm getting my hair cut. I had to get rained

Therefore, writing an essay is better in serveral ways than writing just diary, since I can practice in the form which is more simillar to what I will do in the exam. In particular, I can use paragraph forms and vocabulary which are more analoguous to that will be used in the exam.

Solar power technology has not become prolific because of following reasons.
Firstly, the technology itself has't developed enough, making itself not competent against other major energy sources like fossil fuel and nuclear energy. Solar energy has several downsides which haven't yet overcome. Unlike other widely used energy sources, The amount of power a solar power plant can produce is limited to the intensity and duration of sunlight. Energy convetion rates of the most advanced photovoltaic cells isn't high eneough to overcome this limitation yet.
Secondly, current subdued oil market effected solar power industry. Due to cheap fossil fuel cost, consumers have less interest in purchasing expensive and inefficient PV cells.
Lasty, there are insufficient power grid facilities that can attenuate one of solar power's cons, namely, intermittence. There are not enough energy solutions that can affordably store the energy generated by PV plant when the sun
I have grown as an academic student in college and career readiness, as displayed through my English 101 class. This was my third college class on the campus of Los Angeles Mission College, so I thought I was prepared and ready. Yet in my English 101 class I had to come up with my own prompts for my essays and merely came into class to listen to lectures on the basics of English. This was the first class that the teacher did not give me the rules on what to do for the assignment, I had to come up with it myself. Professor Diaz-Cooper did not hand out How-To papers or grading rubrics - she expected us to know and acquire all this information on our own.
Growing up in Jamaica it is safe to say my life has been anything but normal. I have seen and done the impossible but one thing stands out above the rest and it was the time I took a shower in a category 4 hurricane. In 2004 when Hurricane Ivan hit Jamaica, I was a 6 year old in first grade. It was absolutely disastrous, causing many fatalities and even left some people homeless and sick.
I quickly finished tying my shoe and hopped onto my purple mountain bike and we were off. Logan my brother who I love sometimes,Cassie My best friend, Easton Cassie’s brother,Sawyer Cassie’s brother, Mr. Wychers and I were going to ride our bikes through a trail off in the woods and go to Whistle stop and then cut through town and head to Houseman's. The sky was cloudy and the daylight was being blocked by a thick dark cloud, which looked a lot like a rain cloud. We started to cut through a dead cornfield, lifeless tall brown and crusty plants sat in a single spot and as the soft wind blew the once luscious herbs. I felt the dead greens slap me in the leg and burrs got stuck to my pant leg.
I have always found writing hard but now I enjoy it more. I 'm not going to lie and say that it 's easy for me because it 's hard. I get lost with my thoughts a lot. What I say sounds way better then when I put it down on a paper. I have been wanting to write a small book of something.
Writing skills are very important. Everyone will have an encounter with writing at some point, and most of us do on a daily basis. I would share what I have learned with my husband. My husband is also in school, and with our busy schedules we are always rushing to get our work done. I can share the tips that I have learned with him.
You may think that solar energy isn’t enough but we can use it with other clean energy. It is a wise choice to use solar energy because solar energy is renewable and abundant, it is environmentally friendly, and it is also available around the world. Solar is the most abundant energy resource on Earth. In Taiwan, a three-story building with solar panels can produce three to four families’ electricity.
Writing has always been an issue but yet interesting subject of mine. As hard as I try and write essays, and papers I just can’t get the hang of writing. Over the this past semester in freshman composition I have learned how to write a college level paper. Going into this class, I was a little unsure and scared that I wasn’t going to be able to do the things that were required for me to do. As the semester passed I could definitely see a change in my writing. I learned how to use the appropriate punctuation, how to write and refute an argumentation paper, which I believe is my strongest piece of writing and how to research and gather information to write a strong research paper. I knew coming into this class that I was going to struggle with my punctuations, word choice, and the overall flow of the paper.
Late May, 2016. I was 13 years old, about to leave on a two week long road trip, and had just discovered the magic of musicals. Before then, I had abhorred the very idea of a musical, why would people randomly burst into song and choreographed dance for no reason? Now, I can not write anything decent without a musical playing in the background. The purpose of this essay is to analyze my writing process and how my process can be strengthened, for three textual artifacts.
ENG-122 Reflective Essay My writing process has changed tremendously over the course of this class. I feel more accomplished, confident and I feel sometimes that my ideas and thoughts just come in to my mind out of nowhere and I start writing about anything now. I pay attention to my punctuation and grammar more as I have polished them more now, not only when I write but then others write as well. I am constantly looking for errors and I highly think this is helping me a lot in my career.
Writing essays and other types of posts has always been difficult for me. But, throughout this composition class, I have learned many interesting and new things about the different types of writing styles. When starting this class, I considered myself to be an average writer with run-of-the-mill vocabulary, ordinary sentence structure and typical finished products. This class has helped me greatly improve my writing skills in a variety of ways. I have learned multiple things by taking this class, such as new ways to approach writing and that there is much that I still need to learn about composition.
Scientists have found that renewable energy is a path towards the future for a clean and safe environment. Throughout all the studies and findings, there is a continuing fret whether people should be able to use a traditional way of energy or renewable energy, solar power. Solar energy is seen to be effective since there has progressively been more places that are benefiting from solar usage; however there are also some who disagree. Solar energy sources are derived from natural sources and is implicated throughout our daily lives. From the lights in the streets to the computers we use at home.
Academic success to me is achieving good grades and understanding the material to get good grades. Academic success also means to have an good attendance. I already get mostly A’s and B’s, but I am not good at staying on top of things. To improve my academic success I will attend class more often, be more organized, pay attention in class, and not procrastinate.
This was the hardest course I have taken to date. My journey began with identifying different conventions of writing styles based on Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences, of which I had no prior experience. I never gave thought to the idea of having different writing styles geared towards specific audiences. This makes a great deal of sense when considering all the different writing topics, styles, and audiences. Module one was my first exposure to “conventions.”
A Normal Day of Softball, Not About three years ago we had a softball tournament in Central, Florence. We were about to finish our last game when it began to sprinkle. The light rain was nice and refreshing because it had been so hot that day. As we played a little while longer dark black clouds began to roll in with streaks of lightening. Luckily we did finish the game before the weather got bad.
