Obsolescence is a fact of life many of us would rather not like to face in this information era. I feel that this rapid change in technology is brought upon by research and innovation performed by various universities and organizations across the world. It is now time for me to contribute towards these researches and bring about a change. My long relationship with computer science goes back to nearly a decade, to the moment when I first learned to program. I found programming to be an interesting application of math and logic. At that time my motivation to pursue computer science came from inter-school programming contests and national cyber olympiads. My analytical ability, mathematical aptitude, logical understanding of concepts and high academic credentials helped me get into SASTRA University one of the premier university in Tamilnadu, India. Right from my first year of undergraduate studies I had shown great interest in the subjects linked to algorithm and database management. The hours that I had spent in my laboratories provided me a firm footing in my undergraduate courses. In my freshman and sophomore years, I participated in and contributed towards my university’s technical club. Being an active part of the group provided a valuable learning opportunity and led to me being voted as the schools General Secretary by the Deans and Professors of the school. This proved to be a turning point in my life.
