I also used to struggle to keep my grades up during elementary school but as I progressed through the years, I eventually became better. With all being said, you must go through pain, struggle, sacrifice, commitment, etc, to reach what you
I have been constantly dealing with struggles, from which I have learned. One of my biggest struggles, from which I have learned and am still learning, was the transition from middle school to high school. While this is a common struggle for almost all students, that doesn’t mean we should overlook it or write it off in our own lives. When I first began high school, I was filled with adrenaline, which fueled me and kept me on my toes enough to keep up with the workload. This "honeymoon phase" came to an end, and I started falling behind.
From that moment onward, I learned that anything is possible in school. As long as you put your heart out and put determination into your goals, they can become achievable. School grades are not the only forte that
In middle school I never had good grades I was always the student who did not understand the lesson. During this time I would get so frustrated i would just give up and not even try. From the beginning of 6th grade to the end of 7th I pretty much had all F’s maybe some B’s in my easy classes. My parents were very disappointed in me and i was disappointed in myself. After 7th grade i decided i was gonna switch gears and start really putting my right foot forward and start paying attentions in school and ask for help when I need it.
Guess what the hardest thing I have ever done? It was to think about how I felt the last 11 years of my life and describe that on around three pieces of paper for your middle school application. Just imagine three weeks of visiting 5 schools, in the middle of the school year. It is the dreadful first day of the week, and the sun is waking up in Virginia Beach at the Helman’s house.
Freshman year, what an awkward time in my life coming out of middle school with my poor grades I promised myself and my parents I was going to succeed while in high school. Did I though? My grades for sure improved but I still was not putting in as much effort as I should have been. I struggled to be able to communicate with all these new faces and in a completely new school but even outside of school struggled to talk to new people.
Warren awoke to the buzzing sound of his alarm--6:30 in the morning. He threw his tan comforter blanket to the wall and slid out of bed. He walked heavier than an elephant across his wooden floor to the kitchen. His mother was making his everyday breakfast--two buttermilk waffles and a small glass of milk. He ravaged it to the last crumb.
I hated it. Everything about it made me want to run away. The students, the teachers, my classes, just everything. I sat alone in lunch and I had no friends to hang around with. I got bullied.
Summer was winding down and I was getting ready for school. I was kind of nervous but I felt good. I was ready to out of middle school. I heard that the upper classman were really rude to the freshman so I was nervous.
Everyone has had someone close pass away. Well in my case, it was my best friend Ethan. He pass away in 2013 from a mistake by the doctor. I know that he always wanted me happy, but that wasn’t always the case when he first was gone. let me tell you about our mind boggling years with Ethan.
It proved to be an incredibly daunting task. I was devoid of skills normally acquired throughout one’s high school years. I taught myself how to study, how to pay attention in class, and most importantly how to succeed. Additionally, I worked a part-time job at a grocery store to help pay for my tuition. My efforts proved to not be in vain as I earned grades higher than I ever achieved throughout grade school, which placed me on the Dean’s List of my
In the duration of my middle school years, I maintained excellent grades, except I had just one issue that held me back from a satisfying life. That issue was the fact that friends came very hard to me in my middle school years. Before my struggles at my middle school, Trafton, I had a very productive social life in the Elementary school I attended, Roberts Elementary. Here, it was very easy to make friends and have a great social life, since no hard work was required as a kid. Middle school, however, was a great challenge for me.
The first day of middle school for me was both terrifying and exciting. I made a lot of new friends within the year. I remember the first day very well. I had woke up at 5;30 a.m. I was extremely tired.
In high school, I never really gave much of an effort to my academics. It
Eighth Grade... Finally! Just thinking about going into high school makes me feel nervous and anxious especially because I am going to a school where I know no one yet. My Favorite thing about middle school was the fun adventures we had on F.A.P. and the clubs that my school had. Probably the most memorable funniest and embarrassing memory I had was when I was in 7th grade and my class was doing our King Arthur's Calamity play and during the dungeon scene, I had forgotten my line
