Should Chocolate Milk Be Served Served In Schools By Soham Jaswani For many years now, chocolate milk has been supplied in schools. But now, schools are debating on whether chocolate milk should be provided in schools or not. I strongly believe that chocolate milk should be offered at schools. Chocolate milk is healthy, a great recovery drink, and tasty. One of the reasons is that, chocolate milk is healthy.
I. Chocolate is yummy yet delicious. But most of people will think that chocolate is bad for your healthy because it can cause obesity, decayed tooth, acne and so on. However, have you ever think that if eating chocolate in moderation, especially dark chocolate, it will bring some advantages too? II. There are three types of chocolate.
Although there are more than 4,000 known flavonoids which are all good for you, most previous research focused on dietary intake of only five flavonoids. Current research is breaking down the family of procyanidin flavonoids into monomers (those containing one unit) and oligomers (those containing two, three or more units). The exciting news is: as oligomers get bigger their ability to prevent LDL (the bad cholesterol) oxidation increases and luckily, our beloved chocolate contains plenty of these big, super-good-for-you compounds. Chocolate is one of the most popular type of food in the world. Nearly 53 percent of the chocolate consumer in USA eats chocolate once a week. Moreover, according to elite daily “Chocolate’s scent increases theta brain waves, which induce relaxation. This is mainly why people feel better about their problems after eating loads of it”. In fact, chocolate industry in United States accounts for 13 billion dollars and people consume 3.1 million pounds every year.
The topic of chocolate milk can be thought of in many different ways. But a very significant topic is brought up various times, including student debates. Should chocolate milk be served in schools? I believe that chocolate milk should be served in schools. This is because chocolate milk helps keep bodies stay healthy, and it helps children maintain a beneficial diet, since it is just as good as white milk. In addition, surveys show how parents feel about serving chocolate milk, and they like it.
Chocolate milk is being attacked and it needs protection. Although some people may argue that chocolate milk is unhealthy, Some people may argue that it is healthy. The first reason why I think it is healthy is because it is shown that there is vitamin D in it. The second reason is that kids are still getting the protein they need.
Did you know that some students would not drink as much milk if chocolate milk was taken away from schools? Even Dr. James Rippe in an interview with KSL.com said, “Some students would be drinking a lot less milk if it weren’t flavored.” Furthermore this just goes to show that some kids prefer chocolate milk or other flavored milk over plain old white milk. Also most kids don’t go “look chocolate milk has a lot of sugar, I want that!”
While I think that most people have discredited the idea that body types can be directly associated with crime, I do think there are some trends that may be used to make connections, all while keeping in mind the idea that correlation does not equal causation. As far as determining my body type, due to the nature of the sport which I participate it makes this a fairly difficult question. I’m definitely not frail, but as a cyclist, I definitely have much more muscle mass in the lower body than the upper. I don’t really fit the description of an ectomorph, due to the lack of fragility, but I wouldn’t say that I’m a naturally muscular individual, so I’m not a mesomorph. I’m definitely not an endomorph as “soft and round” are two words that I would not use to describe myself. With that said, I guess that I have to describe myself as fitting into the balanced category.
The documentary, Food Inc., takes a deeper look at the food industry and how it has changed over the years. The McDonald brothers played a huge part in changing the food industry forever. The brothers began to run their restaurant in a factory style. Each worker only had one specific job to do. Because the workers were assigned simple tasks, they were all paid a low wage and were easily replaced. The factory style restaurants had positive and negative sides. The positives were fast, good-tasting food. However, the negatives were much more prevalent. McDonalds became a chain restaurant that appeared all over the United States. The owners wanted their food to taste the same at all locations. This was achieved by purchasing all their meat and
“Anything is good if it’s made of chocolate “. People around the world adore eating chocolate and enjoy it, but most of the people are not aware of the process of making chocolate. Cafeteria food in schools is made to be healthy for students, but is it really healthy for students if they think it is foul and do not want to eat it? Should schools change the healthy foods to foods that students would actually want to eat? School food’s job is to be healthy and tasty to get the students through their day, but sadly school lunches tend to miss the mark on both accounts. Public schools rely on money from the government to supply food to their students, but due to several cutbacks the thing served in the cafeteria is hardly food at all. We all know the stereotypical school food mystery meat Monday or a slab of grey mush and sadly that is not too far from what it is in reality. Even with the “healthy” options most school supply is packed with harmful preservatives and chemicals that harm our youth from buying the cheapest possible edible green thing. As a country does not seem to want to invest into healthy and better futures for our young people.

For a will, the sugar-sweetened drink has been taxed and are improving people diet and there is a lot of research on junk food is taxed and how it can also improve people diet. In places were sugar drinks have been taxed the person paying for there drink is taxed but for junk, food researcher has shown that taxing the people will have no impact. If people are not taxed than manufacturers should be taxed, and studies have shown when manufacturers are taxed than they are more likely to increase prices which will stop people from buying junk food and look for healthier food. Junk food has caused an increased rate of obesity and one way the government is trying to fight this is by having fat taxes which tax just unhealthy food and sugar-sweetened drinks. When junk food is being taxed than people will more incline to buy healthy food and drinks, this is only possible when the manufacturers are taxed.
