This issue has only irritated Republicans, Democrats mindset is the more the minority, the better for us. People want to come to the United States for a better life, any way possible. The issue stems from illegal immigrant or illegal aliens instead of legal aliens. There was a CBS News poll on illegal immigration and the 14th Amendment, which seems the population is divided in half. Then, fifty-nine percent of Democrats believe it should stay while fifty-four percent of Republicans believe it should be changed.
As difficult this issue is, taking citizenship birthright away would cause more problems than fixing them Most people are familiar with the term “America the land of opportunity” and the meaning of term pertains to throughout the time’s many people entered this nation for a fresh new start but something that isn’t emphasized enough is that also want to provide a secure future for their upcoming children. Taking away birthright citizenship would not just affect children of illegal immigrants but would also affect the children of those who are immigrating legally. This would create a second class of citizens those who not having the equal rights and privileges. Which usually lead to resentment from the youth against the nation he or she was born in.
But, some are indeed moving here to have a better life and further their education, maybe receive an education they would not be able to get in their country. America should take it as a compliment that people want to move to our country to better themselves. If they were moving away because our country was so terrible then that would be bad. But they are coming here for a good reason and it means that our country has nice things and treats us
For it to remain so, we must keep fighting to pass immigration reform, including a solution for undocumented immigrants who are already here.” What Senator Schumer is saying is that America’s ancestors are immigrants, so why can’t we welcome the ones already here? It simply doesn’t make sense to not be open to legalize undocumented immigrants
In the open forum “Fixing the Immigration Problem.” Edward P. Lazear gives a few propositions about how to fix the United States immigration and also explains why immigration is a problem in the United States. He states that the cause of the problem is “our pattern of immigration,” which he believes makes things called “immigrant enclaves.” He supports this by saying that when many immigrants come from the same place, they create their own group that still holds the culture from where they came from and when this happens the immigrants tend to not learn English.
Why did decide the United States imperialize land that wasn 't theirs after european immigrants came to America? Once immigrants came into the U.S there became less jobs available and caused some people to go bankrupt. People born in the United States looked for more land and jobs, so they decided to migrate west. The more immigrants that came into the U.S more people tried to find better places to live and. If there wouldn 't have been immigrants coming to America we would not have as much diversity as we do today and there could still be some land that Native Americans would still have today.
You an have one of two things, a welfare state with very restrictive immigration, or you can have a non-welfare state with complete freeflow of immigration. Realistically speaking, We do have a welfare state so.. we have to shut the border instead of incentivising millions more non english speaking, low education, poor, low skill people to cross the border. We have to start enforcing our visas because 40% of illegals have overstayed their visas. Then we figure out to do with the folks here.
We should give them a certain number of days to stay before they have to leave. Also the relative has to show how they are related to the immigrant we legal papers. The immigrants should show a document of why there are coming in and if they plan to stay they have to get a green card holder (Permanent Resident), and follow all requirements to be a green card
With this being said. I would choose Pediatrician over a physical therapist assistant. The average salary for a pediatrician in our area is $135,000 a year, which will average out about $88.07 an hour (The Facts. (2017) para 2, para 5). In some states the average is a lot higher for a pediatrician.
America known as the land of opportunities, immigrants come from all over the world want to settle in America in hopes discovering better opportunities and wellness in life as compared to their home countries. They are hard working people with careful budgeting that will help to bring them wealth and a sense of happiness for themselves and for their children future. An immigrant is a person who is willing to leave their country to settle in another country for a chance to better their lives that was not available in their country. However, when they first arrived in America, immigrants would have challenges with finding employment due to the lack of the English language, transportation, adapting to an environment that was foreign as well as
This presidential election has so far been dictated by this issue and it is a very prominent one in today’s society. Two of the biggest candidates have very opposing viewpoints. Hillary Clinton (democrat) wants to help the immigrants that are currently in this nation. She supports the DREAM Act, this helps young people that grew up in this country illegally obtain citizenships. She also wants to conduct humane enforcement because these immigrants are also people and should not be treated as anything less, supports naturalization of immigrants, and wants to take in and help refugees.
However, immigrants should be allowed to return to America if they choose to follow the proper immigration laws. Many complain that the immigration process takes too much time. I propose a merit based immigration program, where those who are willing to help in the rebuilding of America will be given priority to those who come here to evade their country’s law
Bernie Sanders believes that immigrants play a central role in the American economy and in American citizens’ everyday lives. However, he feels that undocumented workers are abused by some politicians for political gain and put in the dark. The only way to end this disgraceful situation and fix the enormous problem we face as a country, in Sanders opinion, is to end the division and become united. The Fair and Humane Immigration Policy will unite all peoples living in America, legal and illegal, consequently, binding the division in our country.
This could be some serious repercussions if this issue is continued to be ignored or the result stays the same. There are two actual solutions that could be implemented to prevent from any economic trouble. The first one is the have congress reevaluate the current immigration laws, which is shown by figure 1 which is located below. New laws could be put in place instead of the current ones that make it easier for immigrants coming to United States to either get full citizenship or a working visa. Allowing more immigrants to become full class citizens could decrease the negative stigma that is currently held around illegal immigrants who chose to work in America.
