When I was younger I can remember walking into school without the fear of being myself. I was who I wanted to be and I never thought about changing myself. Years go on and I see everyone changing, maturing at a very young age and I felt outcasted. Different from others I started changing myself due to the feeling of disapproval amongst others. I believe in life that we all fear change, we all fear being different from this change so we change who we really are. I believe that everyone feels this way because of their race, religion, culture, and etc. No one sees the beauty in our differences. The differences in others is what brings us together as a community and everyone should be true to themselves.
Scrolling day by day on social media, seeing what we believe is the perfect image of life. Everyday people believe they have to be a certain image to gain approval from people who will end up just hurting them in the long run. Starting middle school each day I woke up struggling to find the perfect outfit because I didn’t want to be judged for wearing a certain shirt that people may think is stupid or ugly. Everyday I woke up self conscious the way I looked because I didn’t want to be made fun of for not looking or being the perfect image. Is this really how people spend their lives? Is this really

Now I see that our differences are a beautiful thing and that we shouldn’t be afraid of diversity. Overall our differences are what bring us together and you should be true to yourself. What I hope to encourage to others is that you are beautiful no matter what race, religion, culture, and etc and that I inspire others to be their unique selves that love showing people their differences. I hope no one is afraid to show their differences because thats what makes us unique and being different is amazing, don’t ever lose sight of
When we see others with nicer things or somebody else’s life that’s better than ours we feel this pressure that we need to be like that. When everybody surrounding you has one thing that you don’t have, you get made fun of for it. Media has a huge effect on how we think and what we think we should look like. We are constantly pushed into a mold by society to be something or somebody that we can’t be. Our family and all conformists that surround us, telling us we aren’t good enough for standards set by society.
Some people think they don 't fit into society, so they go and change themselves in order to fit in. In the book American
In today’s society the general attitude towards an individual is conform or be an outcast. It is seen in schools where people who do not fit into specific cliques become outcasts, the weird people. It is seen in the work place as well. People have conformed to standards set by society simply because society has said to do so. Society asks people to change themselves to fit in.
We put pressure on people, and then they feel like they can’t change or they’ll disappoint others. It is so very stressful to be yourself, so why not create a new identity? “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed
The summer of 2016 my family and I took a road trip to Colorado. Colorado reminded me a lot of Minnesota but on a big Mountain. There are river valleys that are 1,250 feet deep to mountains that are 14,114 feet high. I climbed a mountain in Glenwood Canyon.
Many people, still to this day are having trouble being themselves, they are too busy trying to be someone that they are not. In other words, portraying to be a certain person other than their self. For instance, high school students, where some go through peer pressure just so they can be a part of a clique. Including, college students, the females that would do anything to get accepted in a sorority and the males that would do the same to be accepted as a fraternity. Sometimes people will put up an image in front of someone their trying to impress or prove themselves to.
Many people face life-changing events and experiences that impact their lives and their countries. Melba Beals from “Warrior Don’t Cry” changes African Americans students’ education. Feng Ru from “The Father of Chinese Aviation” changes his country’s transport. Jackie Robinson from “I Never Had it Made” also makes it possible for African Americans to play professional sports. Melba Beals, Feng Ru, and Jackie Robinson all face life changing experiences that impact not just their lives, but also their countries.
How have I improved as a writer? I am thinking about my action plan as a writer have I improved, have I met the goals I set out to achieve on my first day of class, and what have I learned in this class? I will go over my time in this class and review the various topics I mentioned above and more. Looking back over my time in this class I will critique and praise myself. How I felt about writing when I first started this class compared to how I feel now, I would have to say I am more comfortable with writing.
People change over time. This has been shown throughout history by the changing ideals of men and women over the centuries. Even though people change some of the issues that are faced today are similar to the issues faced after the Civil War. During the Civil War the purpose of the war switched from preserving the union to slavery.
A personal experience i had, is as a child in middle school i was put under so much pressure to be the same as my peers. Even though I wasn’t the same, or didn’t fit into their category. Yet I tried hard to be and always worried about what people would say. Later in High school i developed a Panic Attack disorder from the stress of middle school. I was forced to try and be someone i wasn’t that I didn’t know who i wanted to be, or who i really
That’s why we change ourselves. We try to fit in, or make an impression so we don’t get embarrassed. Fear is what drives us to do some things sometimes. While everyone uses personality masks, we need to remember not to forget who we truly are. That means we can’t act completely different than how we would actually want all the time.
It's Me As if breaking an arm was not already hard enough. Having to move to a different state was the worst. I was going to be all alone. Just me and my mom its always been that way.
AUTOBIOGRAPHY What made me, me Every person has his personality and the way he reacts to the environment. There are certain things to ask yourself about how you became like this. In my life some things affected me a lot and one of the main things that made me, I am my personality. For a person, a personality is a critical thing.
Thesis: I agree with Ralph Waldo Emerson because I feel that you have to try to stay the same person and not change your way of life because of something that has happened to you in the past. I agree with Waldo Emerson's statement, “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment” because if you change yourself because of something that happened to you, you will never be the same person everyone knows. Another reason is peer pressure. You always need to be the same person because change can be very bad and affect your future. You can notice if something happens to a friend and they change, and when you see that you need to help them break that change because it will stick with them forever.
A person can't control the shape of their face, the way their body curves, or what their hands look like. However, yet, individuals are regularly judged on this. In the event that person does not look like what is on TV, in magazines, or even portrayed as in books, at that point they are other. They are not beautiful. A great many people would concur this isn't right, that society
