In this modern era, many factories desire high productivity for their goods to be sold in order to gain more profits and revenues by using robots as the labors. It is expected that robots will take over 5 million jobs by 2020 due to the advancement of technology. The five major robot markets in the world are China, Japan, United States of America, Korea and Germany, which 30% of the robots is used for the automotive industry. Although opponents mention that robots are costly, can increase the unemployment rate and have limitations, there are also many benefits too. Firstly, opponents mention that the use of robots in the manufacturing industry requires high expenses. They claim that the cost of purchasing robots are quite high as they are good in quality and the cost for their maintenance are expensive due to the limited service for repairing. However, comparable to the price, robots are able to help in increasing the number of manufacturing products as they can produce a huge quantity goods in a short period of time. This can help the factories to increase its profit and revenue and widen its market share in the industry. Besides, robots can help to reduce the amount of wasted materials used due to their accuracy in producing goods. This enables the factories to prevent wastage of raw material that can be used in the future.
