Education plays an important role in the world. It is fundamental to the development and growth of countries. Some of the advantages of education are the reduction of poverty, increase of income, better health in educated individuals, boosts in the economic growth and the promotion of gender equality. According to Kim (2011), the effect of the advantages is directly proportional to the quality of education provided. The quality of education is continually being raised to meet global standards and boost the advantages.
One of the ways in which the quality of education is raised is the creation of Advance Placement Classes in the United States of America in which a college curriculum is offered to high school students to give students an advantage in the tertiary level. Another way to raise the

One of the history's greatest figures, Nelson Mandela, once said: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Over the course of years, this statement has only become more relevant. Maybe that is the reason why the topic of the decline of the American education has been recently spurring such a heated debate among national academic and teaching communities. In “The Chronicle of Higher Education”, Carl Singleton, a faculty member at Fort Hays State University, also presented his reflections concerning the U.S. education system.
Marguerite Johnson has been waiting on this day all year long; GRADUATION DAY!!! It’s a big accomplishment for her and the people in her community. Marguerite was so excited, so as the people that knew her personally. Her
Even though education is valuable to students, the society also desires it to make it safer and healthier. In my opinion, education will be beneficial to those who do their very best in their high school and college years. Going to college for many students is just a normal part of life. It is what will enable them to get an education that eventually will lead to get a well-paid job and the resources and the status to live a comfortable life. But for college professor, Andrew Delbanco, the American college has a higher purpose. In the article “College at Risk”, Delbanco states that colleges should be promoting critical thinking among students, through knowledge of the past and the interaction with each other; as well as, help them discover their talents and passions and figure out what they want to do in life. This type of education is called liberal arts and for Delbanco, it represents the ideal education.

After summer break, I returned to Westlake High School for my junior year, feeling as if something was missing. The decision to spearhead the creation of a chapter of the Science National Honor Society (SNHS) at my school arose because of my desire to establish a niche where high school students could express their shared passion for the sciences. The SNHS would provide enlightening scientific activities and opportunities for students, and the Science club would serve as a path to introduce members into the society. I initially proposed the creation of the society in a meeting with the Principal and Board of Education. Quite a few obstacles had to be overcome to start a new organization in the school.
Dreams That Can Be Accomplished African American history is filled with a plethora of contributions in the music, acting, and sport industries, but some young adults fail to recognize the African American contributions to the science field. For decades, minority women have been the most underrepresented individuals in science, engineering, and medicine. Being one of less than 100 African American women physicists in the United States, Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green has been an inspiration to me to pursue a degree in Chemistry. She once said, “It’s important to know that our brains are capable of more.” It is important for African American women to further their skills and know that they are a valuable part of the workplace and that their contributions to STEM is essential.

The Smartest Kids in the World: And How They Got That Way by Amanda Ripley, is a wonderful book that focusing on the important of the education and how can the changing on the education system and schools reforms change the whole country for the best. Importantly, that can happen if we think first what are our educational problems and how can we resolve them in a smart and wise way that can help us to have magnificent results that benefits everyone, the
As said in the article The Secret To Fixing Bad Schools “students need to become thinkers not test takers. ” They should be able to take more classes they are interested in rather than classes they need just for graduation required credits. Schools need to have more academic achievement appreciation rather than only appreciating the athletic students. Although Bostein points out America’s education system seems to be the main issue in preparing our children for the future, he is a bit too extreme with this ideas.

It is crucial to the overall development of the individual and the society as a whole. When individuals do not have the option of getting an education due to the cost of the schools as well as the lack of schools itself. For those living in poverty it can be difficult to earn the same amount of education as other people who are considered middle or high class.
Educated Individuals provide their service to society by acquiring a steady salary. According to AbdulRahman Elshaarawy “In order for a country to see steady economic growth, education must be a priority. For every year of education, a person’s average earnings increase by 10 percent” (Elshaarawy, 5 . If education were to be a top priority of a country that country would have a steady economy.
