I have a dream today. I have a dream that one day I’ll become the greatest manager.
This is my hope, and this is the faith that I go to the Far East.
With this faith, I’ll be able to be one step closer to my dream and I believe that Ritsumeikan APU university has everything I need to help me reach my goal.
Many different students from all over the world come to this school. It will be an excellent opportunity to experience many cultures and languages as well as learning more about the diversity of the world.

I aim to be a manager who can face challenges with ethics, and will be able to help both people and companies as much as possible. Therefore, Ritsumeikan APU university is the best choice for my career as I have the same values, and it will provide everything I need to become a great manager, and my experience at Ritsumeikan APU university will undoubtedly contribute positively to my life and dream.

Mankind goes beyond nationalist affiliations to become a citizen of the world. Despite of this, cultural specificities tend to disappear and become uniform, the result of which is a cultural and social impoverishment.

There is an old Moorish proverb that reads, “He who does not travel, does not know the value of man.” That quote resonates deep within me because I have a yearning to use my education to empower those in need. In order to do so, I need to see and experience the world outside of the one I am accustomed to. Curiosity is one of the traits that define the person that I am; because of this trait I always ask questions about the world around me and the people I meet. This is one of the driving forces behind my desire to venture outside of the United States to learn a new language and culture.
Reflecting on my personal and educational goals I believe UNCW, Wilmington will not only allow me to grow as a student or person, but will create new challenges in my life that will lead to fulfilling my goal of becoming a successful woman someday. Growing up in a small town off the Coast of Maine, I have grown up learning to do things on my own and that things in life aren 't handed to you. Since I was able to work I have been; racking blueberries, hauling lobster traps, digging for clams, working in diners, and much more. I have learned to be independent and to not have to rely on others. The one thing in life I have always wanted is to be able make something of myself and to build a successful future and not have to stress or struggle.

As I am going to enter the university in Canada this coming September, I will explain reasons why I decide to study not in Japan but in Canada and what I would specifically like to learn there with my personal experience.
