CLIMATE CHANGE DUE TO GLOBAL WARMING
Climate changes due to global warming has been a global concern. Climate change it has effected our economy, health and communities in a very bad way. What do you think we will be able to do to prevent this?
Global warming? Is it real? Global warming is defined as a gradual increase in the average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere. The evidence of global warming is all around us. For example, sea level rise : rise in the water level in the sea. Every year the water rise from 10-20cm. Temperature rise : the rise in temperature which is due to the increase in CO2 in the atmosphere , leads to climate change and hence cause global warming. Shrinking ice sheets : sea levels rise faster causing climate change and which leads to ice sheets shrinking. This can lead to catastrophic flooding , and can cause huge problem to the countries near by.
So what is global warming and what causes it? Global warming is an increase in the average temperature of earth’s atmosphere. The process of global warming works by, the light waves entering earth’s atmosphere and heats up the earth and is then sent it back into outer space in the form of infrared waves. But the infrared waves traps some of heat in the atmosphere , which helps the climates to stay at a equilibrium so we can survive. This problem is caused by the CO2 (carbon dioxide). More caron dioxide is added to the rest every year. CO2 is like a blanket which traps heat and keep warming the
Global warming is a rise in the Earth’s global temperature, whether through natural or man-made circumstances. Factors causing global warming through natural means would be volcanic emissions and increased solar activity. The major issue with global warming is the progress of humankind. Increases in industrialization and deforestation, which release the greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide (CO2), act as a blanket in the atmosphere. CO2 with the combination of water vapor, trap heat from the sun between the atmosphere and the earth’s surface, causing a rise in temperature (Haldar, 2011).
Population growth has continued to grow and people have continued to use up the earth’s resources. Climate change is an issue caused by humans and their disregard for the planet. Humans have used up so much of the earth’s resources that it poses a threat to all things living. Animals are becoming extinct and their habitats are being lost. Humans need to expand and build more places to live because there is not enough space for everyone due to population growth.
According to nrdc.org, global warming is a major consequence of the tragic events that we see in our everyday lives such as hurricanes. Global warming allows more powerful and dangerous hurricanes. The warming of water in the oceans forces more energy into tropical storms. This is then making them much stronger which will cause more destruction than past storms. What is causing global warming?
Increasing temperatures cause sea ice to melt, and that makes the global water level rise. This DBQ is about the most important consequence of climate change. There are multiple significant consequences of climate change, such as fires or deforestation, but the most critical consequence is sea ice melting. One reason why flooding is the most important consequence of climate change is because of how it's impacting animals. Water rising is an influential consequence of climate change because it impacts animals around the world.
The Earth is melting, and people need to help. Climate change is a regular thing that happens on Earth, but recently, it has changed drastically. " Since 1880, Earth’s average temperature has increased by about 0.8 degrees Celsius. (BGE) This may not seem like much, but scientists are worried.
The earth is heating up 500 billion tons of ice will collapse. Then one and a half feet of sea level will rise and then the water would move 150 feet inland in Florida. If this keeps up the world will slowly but surely heat up. Without humans trying to help the environment the world could flood. Some of the problem is Human responsibility and how it is ruining the earth and how the environment and nature will fall because of Global Warming.
Arctic ice reflects 80 percent of the sunlight back into space. As sea ice melts there will be more sunlight hit the ocean which increase the temperature of the ocean and cause raise of sea level. Satellite observations show that Arctic sea ice concentrations have significantly decreased over the last 25 years. Submarine observations also suggest that the Arctic ice pack has thinned dramatically in the last 20 to 30 years. As the sea ice melts the sea level increase.
IMPACTS OF GLOBAL WARMING ON THE ENVIRONMENT SLINDILE.C MAZIBUKO 215011983 UNIVERSITY OF KWAZULU NATAL WESTVILLE CAMPUS DURBAN, SOUTH AFRICA ABSTRACT One of the biggest problems facing the world today is global warming. It is evident that there is climate change around the world. In recent years, we have so many unusual hurricanes, typhoons, floods, droughts and earthquakes. Plants and animals that lived in the cold climates are now disappearing.
The first question “What is Global Warming?” Global warming is the gradual increase of the temperature of earth 's atmosphere and oceans. In simple word, it means the global is hotter and hotter day by day.
What is global warming? Global Warming is the increase of Earth 's normal surface temperature due to impact of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide radiations from lighting fossil fuels or from the removal of trees which lure heat that would otherwise get away from Earth. This is a kind of greenhouse impact. Global warming is the determined and relieved increases in the mean temperature of Earth atmosphere and oceans.
This problem is controversial because some people believe that that global warming isn 't real and others believe it is. There is evidence that global warming is real because some scientist agree that the earth 's rising temperatures is due to all of the pollution. My opinion on it is that it is clearly real and we need to do something to stop it. If we do not stop all of the pollution in this world, it can affect everyone 's way of living in the future.
Global warming is all about adverse climate change caused by the trapping of greenhouse gases in the earth's atmosphere that affects biodiversity and poses a serious health hazard. Scientists have found strong evidence that human activities have caused most of the warming since the mid-1900 (“global warming”). Humans are responsible for
Global warming also referred to as climate change is the gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth 's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants in the air today. There are two causes of global warming, human influences and also natural causes. Global warming is increasing day by day because of all the natural causes going on. A greenhouse is a glass building that contains plants in it that needed to be protected from cold weather. These greenhouses attract heat from many things like the
Global warming is the change in the average temperature of the earth is surface as a result of humans’ activity that pollutes the nature. The level of carbon dioxide has been increased in the upper part of the atmosphere which it leads to increase the average temperature on the surface which it causes many problems in many side of life including nature, health and economy. Increasing the concentration of carbon dioxide is due to release of poison gases to the atmosphere by cars, manufactures, oil field, burning of natural gases and smoking. Air pollution and climate change are a result of increasing the level of carbon dioxide around the world.
What is global warming? Global warming is defined as “ an increase in the earth 's average atmospheric temperature that causes corresponding changes in climate, and that may result from the greenhouse effect" (“Global warming”). Natural events and human that causes global warming are believed to be factors to increase in average temperatures. This essay looks into the growing problem of global warming and suggests reasonable solutions to it. It also evaluates the effectiveness of these solutions.
