When placing the thesis in the middle and end of the essay it can get confusing for reader’s to understand because their won’t be answered until they reach the thesis statement which is located in the middle or end. The location of the thesis statement is very important to allow reader’s to understand the concept of the writing, instead of having unanswered
The main aim of a narrative essay is to tell of a particular consequential experience within a specific time-frame. What’s more, the narrative essay discusses the gained insights or makes a point. It is habitually a story which has happened to the author of the essay or a person she/he knows. It has all the conventional story elements: a plot, recounted chronologically, characters, climax, and setting. This essay has a clear-cut structure, including an introduction with a thesis, main body, and conclusion with the author’s insight.
She begins to answer the underlying questions that her audience begins to ask themselves. With that being said her tone really brings out her argument with how it is paired with her use of syntax and eventually diction. During the essay her use of diction is more on the simpler side for most of her essay in order to make it easy for an audience of all ages to read. However, in some areas of the passage she throws in stronger, more aggressive, diction in order to build her credibility with her audience as well. The use of language throughout the essay shows that she knows what she is talking about while making it easy on the reader.
The essay has good evidence, accurate grammar and spelling, and a fresh conclusion, as to not bore the reader. However, the author still needs to work on organization, word choice, and sentence fluency. These will help the essay become a more meaningful and powerful piece. Organization means to organize the essay onto an organizer. This may help the writing composition flow easier, and the reader will not get lost in the essay.
Narrative essay Narrative writing is largely the presentation of a series of event in some meaningful order. The following are possible features of a narrative essay: • Write a story/a past event/fiction • use a story line that is convincing • usually use the past tense • use captivating introductory paragraph • Reflect a point to be made Descriptive essay description is used often more to create atmosphere and mood: films do this visually, writers do this with words, where the choice of words is more determined by their connotations than by the accuracy of their denotative use. • describe someone/something to allow the reader to experience the topic vividly • Create a picture in words • Choose words and expressions carefully to achieve the desired effect • use images of sight, sound, hearing, taste and touch • use figures of speech. Suffice it to say that these two essays display an overwhelming presence of depth, dimension, and the majority of the information that was taught in English 5A due to the fact that in both of these essays, I either identify the conversation, summarize an expert’s perspective, or enter the conversation myself in order to assemble the basic elements that should be present in all
