There are different types of technology used by hotel in order to enhance its sales and marketing activities for increased hotel profitability. Latest technology such as different types of information system has been design to provide information, to support and manage operations, to analysis and making decisions in an organization. Different types of system been designed for service industry in order to increase the profitability. Normally a hotel business will installed different types of information technology system in order to run their operation smoothly. Firstly, the most common type of information technology system which applied in hotel industry is Property Management System (PMS). A property management system is a platform which enabled a hotel or groups of hotels to manage front-office capabilities, such as booking reservations, guest check-in/ check-out, room assignment, managing room rates and billing (Oracle, What is hotel PMS?, 2017). Hotel PMS delivered a software platform which replaced time-intensive, paper and spreadsheet-heavy processes. Hotel PMS system consists of a series of modules which including:
