Healthcare Worker Dignity
I think a healthcare worker can provide dignity and respect to a patient by showing them that they care and that they understand there situation even though they may not have experience what they are going through. They can also show the patient respect and dignity by talking to them politely with out an attitude or making the patient and family feel like the healthcare worker do not want to be bothered. When the patient or family speaks to them, the healthcare worker is looking at them and showing body language that they are interest in there needs. The healthcare worker can also go out of there way to help the family and the patient, this will show them that they are respected and that they are worth their time.
