2.1 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
Stores management can play a key role in the integrated logistics strategy and its building and maintaining good relationships between supply chain partners. Storing affects customer service stock-out rates and firm’s sales and marketing success.
A professionally managed Stores has a process and a space within, to receive the incoming goods, keep them for as long as they are not required for use and then to move those materials out of stores for use (Issue).
There is a need for managing the stores in effective manner in Forbin Poly Glass Company.
Objectives of the study
 To find out various imported goods dealt by the company.
 To find out whether goods are received in store department after obtaining official approval from the concerned department.

SCOPE OF THE STUDY
The study takes into account the company facing problems on maintaining store in effective manner and suggest the company to adopt changes particularly with regard to stores management this is essential for the company to survive in the market. It is very essential for the company to adopt the required changes with are helpful for to meet the customer requirements and for the growth of the company.
2.3 RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Meaning:
The process used to collect information and data for the purpose of making business decisions. A research design is the "blue print" of the study. A research design is the arrangement of conditions for collection and analysis of data in a fashion which aspires to combine relevance to the research purpose. The data will be collected for both primary and secondary sources. The primary source will be the respondents concerned and selected by using a predefined questionnaire.
