Media is everywhere and one can say it is integrated in almost every part of our lives. We can say it is in the way play, socialize, connect to one another and most importantly learn (Ashley Wainwright 2014). Using media in the classroom utilises almost all the senses of students. Visual, sound, tactile. It caters for almost all learner types. When using media in the classroom, students will have to interact with it hands-on. Instead of only auditory in the past, students will now be immerse in it, and using all of their senses. So now as they will be multi-sense stimulated and more in depth learning will take place.
Since we are now talking about having students being immerse in learning, we can talk about having students’ attention while teaching. This is another big factor in the classroom. Classroom control is a factor in many classes around the world, and student’s attention span during class time is very short. To keep it throughout a lesson is a skill few teachers have.
